zeptocore.com zeptocore on the left is doing a melodic sample. I use the combo for random sequences (zeptocore.com/#randomize-sequence) which can then later be re-rolled by holding any key. the zeptocore on the right is doing a drum sample. it also has some randomess added by using the random jump (zeptocore.com/#random-jump) to make the beat a little more dynamic.

more info: zeptocore.com FILL combo does re-triggering randomly at the end of phrases. RAND combo creates a random sequence on the current sample. Can you export stems?
can you let me know what you mean? their isn't resampling, but all the samples are available all the time on the sd card.

Hi!! OK so that worked for 1minute and then the zeptcore freezes. Blue light steady on.
Tried multiple times and it froze each time. Have to reboot to get it back on

It still stops kind of randomly midway through the track but this time the bleu light isn't on anymore.
and again it won't restasrt unless rebooted. I'm pretty sure I have the latest firmware yes.
I owe you an apology. I made a sarcastic comment when I first saw this and wrote it off. After seeing what others are doing with it, it sounded cool but more importantly, lots of fun. I got my Zeptocore today. I am eating crow. Thank you.

I just finished assembling the dich studio cover for zeptocore but the cover doesn’t allow the main board to do contact with the rest of the zeptocore. It lights up but it won’t sound. Without the cover it works great.

How do you sync op-1 and Zeptocore? Over usb with host? Or connected directly? I’m curious 😊 is it possible to op1 midi out - zeptocore midi in?
op1 midi out directly to zeptocore mid in is not possible unfortunately :( it requires zeptocore to be a midi host and for the life of me I can't get the midi host libraries to work. so you need a intermediary, like a computer or midi router device

1) yes its called "Sequence Lock" and it is a feature: zeptocore.com/#sequence-lock, for toggling effects, its much easier on the zeptocore because holding "A" will show what is on 2) yeah! here is the info on midi for pikocore: infinitedigits.co/wares/pikocore/#midi it follows a clock and start/stop/continue commands from devices so it syncs super well 3) price points are still being figured out. zeptocade is going to be more expensive than zeptocore, just for the fact that each arcade button is like $2 alone
@@infinitedigits sorry, follow up questions: As far as the Zeptocore, I was talking about if youre able to do the 2 button retrigger+effect only for the duration that the buttons are pressed, like the Pikocore. I realized that wasn't part of that particular update, but a regular feature. Is the Midi clock in for Pikocore available via USB? The last update was March and it still wasn't available at that time.

Is there any way to trigger samples via Midi from outside? And how would it work?
yes, right now you can use the MIDI in the browser: zeptocore.com/#computer-keyboard the midi spec for triggering samples from other things is not yet set. any suggestions are welcome.
@@infinitedigits It would be cool to trigger a sampled drum set with a sequencer/Midi controller. For example on the 1010music Blackbox (also a sample player) you can configure a midi channel and every sample pad as different midi note. Easy and simple to use in a setup.

@@infinitedigitsSorry, my english is a little weak: I meant: Not the Blackbox shall control the Zeptocore but a Midi controller or Midi keyboard. There is a blackbox configuration video I can not link here, but it explains it very well. Every sample pad gets a midi note number which you can trigger from outside. (maybe you search for “1010music blackbox midi setup” and watch starting from 2:15”)
