MAKING a Diffuser | V.5 Exhaust Sounds | YOONICORN EP. 12
We finish up by assembling and installing the rear diffuser, or for now, just a rear underpanel. Eventually, I'll get onto making it a complete diffuser, eventually... But also, there have been many questions and requests regarding how the exhaust sounds. I will say, there is not consistancy in the recordings, and cannot stress enough how bad the quality of the recordings came out, but hopefully, you can use your imagination to clean up the sound! HAHAHA.
I've been trying more and more to not take as long to get these videos edited and put out, and thank you guys for all your patience. I'll do my best to keep up, or at least get some more out sooner! Thank you!
And, this definitely isn't t...

MAKING Widebody Front Fenders | Yoonicorn EP. 09
Просмотров 27 тыс.3 года назад
I've been away for a while, but had to come back, finally. We proceed with the build, going onto building the widebody front fenders for the RSX. But, unlike the rears, I decided to mash up all the process into a full, one part episode (the least I can do, to make up for lost time). A lot has happened in the past couple months, but those are stories for another time. For the time being, lets co...
"Trophy Chasers" | Making Rear Fenders Pt. 3 | Yoonicorn EP. 08
Просмотров 5 тыс.3 года назад
As we get on to finishing up the rear overfenders for the widebody kit, it's important to recognize the process, and the process it took to get to where it is today. With process in mind, I also remind myself what I have gone through, mentally, physically, and emotionally to be doing the things I am now. I can show you physical process as much as I want, and you may take from it. But do underst...

Damn, crazy amount of work and very clever! Why did you use Carbon fiber if you were going to add filler? The point of carbon is lightweight/high strength, but the filler would add significant weight. Also the cost of carbon would be higher the regular fibre glass no?

Great video & great idea on the splitter. glass Chop strand mat is fine for this kind of work & much easier to use than carbon weave & much cheaper. It is pretty much a non structural component.

Yoonicorn? Really? You could be more of a poser!! Trying to come up with a name like Hoonigan, Hoonicorn. Plus your work is ghetto!! One bump and those fenders are trash.you might as well paper mache them lmao. Notice how all his shot is covered in imperfections. Had you come up with a creative name of your own I would've said at least he's trying but nah.

Hello Emi, I know this video is 2 years old but have been enjoying watching your build processes. I am wondering what is the thickness of the polystyrene you use for your pattern making? This is a build method I can wrap my head around and think I can do. I have a 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit I want to do some work on.

Your job was done in a very professional manner. The only thing that I suggest you might want want to do on future projects, is use a mold release agent. So when you fiber glass work is complete, you project release easier. All in all, excellent job. 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍😈

As much as I like zero ground clearance I would advise raising your car some or making the kit shorter so you don't do this constantly. I slammed my car when I put coilovers on it and almost ripped my exhaust off and my front bumper with the first little gas station driveway I went into. I went home and raised it up a little. Your car looks sick that low but you gotta protect all that hard work.

Fiberglass resin is not the same as resin for carbon fiber.

I love your approach to the work and have really enjoyed this build. Haters can suck it, just ask them to post up their work. I am a little concerned about the transition from a single pipe to two. Is there room to merge two sweeps or elbows? Airflow and exhaust design is all witchcraft to me, but smooth transitions seems to be a golden rule. Thanks for sharing your approach and your build.

I am very confused why u wasted money on doing carbon fiber. Same end result with just fiberglass…. Not being mean. But if u want people to see it. It’s not something u want them to see. Bc is u go and polish it. U will see the overlaps.
