The Manfreds would come an hear my band at the Gala, Ballroom in Norwich all those years ago. Paul Jones parents lived nearby. Wonderful times, I turned down an offer from The Sidney Bron Agency I must have been mad.
Anybody notice the drumhead has a design clearly inspired by the art of the Northwest Indigenous People?
You. Couldn't mistake this voice.
My mama was there in the video!!! ❤
Love Gene Pitney!
My freshman year in college; I remember this song- as the best dance music. He was my favorite from 62' on. I was heartbroken when he died. Never had a connection with anyone like him. I have this song at the TOP of my Playlist. Play it every other day- and never get tired, EVER!
@@robertolsen2467. He helps to lift my spirits. ❤
Gene Pitney Soul Blaster From 68'. Written by Charlie Foxx and Swamp Dogg. Love The Feel. Thanks
Gene at the footstep of the disco era! What a gas! RIP
great work john...who did you work for in the 60s?
I love this!
The blonde in the brown outfit with the the legs keeps stealing the shots!
Какой же он Красавчик!! Бомбическое обаяние и запах секса!!!
God Save the Kinks!
This song was number two of favorites with Manfred Mann, one was Do Wah Diddy Diddy
Love it! Hideway in Paris. RIP Tich fuzz guitar maestro!
My parents turned me on to Gene Pitney. He was one cool cat!
❤❤❤this song
A Incredible Rendition!!...
He was so handsome - wow !!!!!
Pure sweetness.😊❤
Why doesn’t anybody dance and sing today ?
I don't think runaround capers in a city suited DDDBMT.
I bet you and sis are just as gorgeous as you were then
Thank You !!! This song is God’s Message to me 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️.
what a voice, he could sing anything, terrific song too.
Bob Dylan song about Anthony Quinn playing an Eskimo
They say Tom Jones has a black man's voice, Steve tops the bill
One of my big time favourite songs. It reminds me of 1968...a very good year for music.
I agree! Loved this one and Love is All Around by the Troggs.........
I miss the music of the sixties
Utterly flabbergasted to find this. I am 67, but somehow I remember seeing this video on television when Dedicated Follower Of Fashion was the big hit record. I just thought I would look for it today, thinking I was wasting my time, after all, it was over 40 years ago, so anything could have happened to this film clip. So imagine how amazed I was to find this after about one minute searching. Really sums up the spirit of 1966!
👍👏👏👏👏🎶🎸🎶
Within a year she had shot to superstardom and was known all over the world
This stuff is priceless. My favorite era for pop/rock. I ❤ them.
Such a cute smile at 1:09. Love him!
The 1960s and 1970s when Britain OWNED the music world.
My favorite moments are when he meticulously and soothingly bellows the title lyric= 0:47 / 0:51
Those Passport photos you can see Dave Dee, Dozy and Mick look totally different. In fact the thing about Dozy's mugshot is he really hasn't changed at all much over the years when you compare what he looked like in the days before his death.
Brilliant satire, years ahead of This Is Spinal Tap.
"I wear dark glasses to be incognito. ... I wash my hair every day. It takes twenty-four hours to dry. So in the meantime I write a song or do a TV show or something."🤣🤣🤣
🎉😂🤣😂💯🍺🌹
Kinda Michael Jackson vibe?
Fantastic video.
😏Outstanding Now it deserves remastered audio 😂 🔊
I think these days we'd call him a social media influencer :)
Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Incredibile artista,voce fantastica,un uomo veramente bello,molto affascinante.adoro da sempre❤
Love this piece
best example of a healthy belting (with some raspy false vocal chords- effect) as high TENOR voice... high larynx, face as resonator, but no chest voice heard, although it supports the voice.. deep(er) voices have more heard chest voice, when belting
It's the man who shot Liberty Vallance! Not many people know that he was also the man who wrote "He's A Rebel" for the Crystals.
Love the Dobro at the beginning.
1:15 обожаю орган
Gene sure could sing.
August of 66'... wonderful
