Link never had a chance. Vader is walking plot armor. I love both LOZ and Star Wars but Link does NOT survive Vader, also only BoTW Link has Mipha's Grace, ToTK Link does not, so it really depends on where this Link falls in the timeline, especially considering he used several items that are never seen in the Wild Era games.

I've done my own set of research that I'll post here. It really depends on interpretation just how high these two can go, but I'll give each of them highest end possible feats for both characters. I will say that Smash Bracket's research was really awful overall for both characters. Strength: Edge Marth Marth's best strength feat is through FE Heroes scaling, which is canon to the series and is able to be scaled to. He would scale to Naga specifically which caps out at Multiversal+. Scaling to Alfonse is also possible albeit more dubious so I won't be using it here, but that caps at Low Complex Multiversal. MK's best strength feat is Low Multiversal, via Kirby scaling and destroying the Master Crown, giving Marth a massive strength edge. Speed: Edge MK Marth's best speed feat is reacting to and dodging light based attacks, which several are seen throughout the series, which would of course, give him light speed reactions. MK's best speed feat would clock in at MFTL+, not only in travel speed like stated, but also in reaction speed via being able to pilot the warp star which we know moves at MFTL+ speeds. So MK has a massive speed edge, as well as a travel speed edge. Durability: Edge Marth Scaling to themselves via their own attacks or attacks from others with similar capabilities, so basically the same as strength. Skill: Both are experienced warriors blah blah blah, this is pretty subjective and they both have experience and its not a factor in this fight, but I'd (Subjectively) give the edge to MK just because of the greater variety and naturally crazier scale of enemies he does fight. So far based on raw stats alone, Marth could one shot MK, but MK speed blitzes Marth and is unable to hurt him. Given Marth's physical attack sealing too, it makes it impossible for MK to actually physically attack Marth, given how MK has no resistance to sealing. So far, it seems like there's no way for MK to damage Marth, and Marth has no way to actually react fast enough to hit MK aside from some stray lucky hit. Not to mention Marth's healing, which would undo what little damage MK could physically cause him in the first place. Not only that, but Marth's counter would just do MK's damage back on him, meaning that MK would just eventually kill himself anyways. Based on this, stats are a non factor now, and we turn to hax. Hax: Edge....????? Now we get to hax which are a lot more subjective and...Weird. A notable hax to talk about is that MK has a ghost form, meaning that if he is killed he would still live on as a ghost. This would be interesting to talk about, except Marth has been able to interact with and hurt spiritual beings before, so this is a moot point. So what hax can actually change the outcome of the fight? Well...The rest of Marth's hax that I haven't talked about aren't important enough to actually alter the course of the fight. As for MK's hax that matter, he did show off the ability to transmutate a weapon during a minigame, which could theoretically be used to transmutate Marth who has no resistance to that, albeit its questionable at best. And...That's about it for what really matters that Marth can't just counter or resist. So what the heck is the end result here? Ultimately, it comes down to this: Marth's win cons: Getting a single lucky hit on Meta Knight MK's win cons: Transmutate Marth (Questionable at best) Or BFR Marth before he could react in time by either A. Grabbing and flying him out into deep space, which would risk him potentially being hit accidentally, or B. Grabbing Marth, and teleporting himself and Marth into a deep space and instantly teleporting out before Marth can even react. This is a lot safer of a method. So yeah, this fight is really weird upon much further analysis. I think, at the end of the day, MK BFRing Marth is his most reliable and plausible win con, and I do think he'd be able to pull it off more times than Marth getting a lucky hit. Winner: MK (High Diff due to a shockingly low number of win cons and a high risk of being one shotted, only big advantage is BFR via speed blitz and questionably transmutation) Butttt Smash Bracket goes by some very "Unique" rules, this only applies to a fully researched fight of two opponents at their best showings. Ever since Heroes was confirmed as canon, FE scaling jumped so far up from like, continental or planetary allllll the way up to multiversal. The sudden jump causes a lot of whiplash in people who don't know about Heroes

Metaknight had better overall stats, but Fire Emblem fams got a lot os tools that simply ignore those and need very specific counters, counters that Metaknight simply didn´t have, the darksphere prevents all melee damage, making MK´s planet cracking strenght kinda useless (the beams he can launch doesn´t have much in terms of feats) and the Falchion and Shield could seal him away if he gets too close (like we´ve seen happen to Galacta Knight) so trying to get them away from Marth was pretty much out of question (specially since Smash Bracket does differenciate travel speed from combat speed, and Marth had a better combat speed overall)

I would like to remind you that combat speed and travel speed are completely different and when it comes to combat speed marth was faster and while both can turn invisible marth can bypass his invisibility and has the ability to prevent meta knight from healing and reverse all of meta knight’s stat buffs so these are some thing I thought of

Fun fact: Even though research wasn't fully finished, the new script they released reveals that Peach and Roy were the likely winners. Peach apparently had just the right haxes to deal with Chrom. Poor Daisy didn't have enough to beat Roy.

7:10 Divine pulse (rewind) has another ability, it also stops time with a max of 30 seconds and unlimited uses, so in the animation he was pulling a dio, stopping time, moving.l then resuming to give the illusion of teleportation. So yeah if byleth already didnt blitz's palu, this alone makes it one.
