That’s the best snare I ever heard
I wish Tony would've kept this aspect of his creativity going. It was definitely a sound worth exploring further.
*shreds scales flawlessly* "Did I do anything diatonic yet?"
Nice very good mike terrana i like 👍
Virgil playing so much better here than he is now. I cant even listen to him for more than 10 seconds now. Unfortunately he lost his way to complication land and it doesnt even sound good...
Disagree , he’s more exciting than ever ..
Patrice Rushen, wow!
Wow! Fantastic. Great job EVERYONE!
Thanks for uploading!! So nice
PATRICE!!!!!!!!!
wer eacho coming from
Let's not forget the excellence of Patrice Rushen friends
👍👍👍
A gig like this why you can’t beat live performances- 4 musicians absolute masters of their respective instruments but listening and playing together as tight as a ducks arse
Too many notes; there's no melody here.
😂😂😂😂
I used to have this on DVD 📀...it actually inspired me to go out and buy each drummerZ individual instructional DVDz... but, I still watched this video quite a bit. I lost it during the process of moving, so itZ really cool to see it here on RUclips 👍👍👍🥁🥁🥁
Please don't ever delete this
Been looking for this. Got the VHS in 2004 hoping to learn to fast rolls on the kick like death metal drummers. Was so disappointed it was mostly quads & shuffles. Respect to Simon Phillips though, the exercises he showed are not practical but they are a great for co-ordination/4 way Independence.
I saw CAB at some Los Ageles club back when they first formed. I remember Tony MacAlpine walking in off the street through the front door about 3 minutes before they were to start. As soon as they were done, Tony scooted right back out the front door. It was like he wasn't really in the band; more like a hired gun who was off to another gig.
and ye. macalpine is my all time fav.... such a master... fu*cking amazing
just ooses skill and mastery of ones instrument
39:50 bunny brunel is crazy, easily one of the most technically skilled bassists out there
Performance date 26 July 2002...just in case someone wants to know.

Yo how could you forget the amazing and legendary Patrice Rushen!
SAY WHAT YOU WANT. PICTURE THIS. YOUR 16. ITS 1986. ULTIMATE SIN TOUR WITH JAKE E. LEE.. 18,000 screaming fans at the HOLLYWOOD SPORTOTORIUM, HOLLYWOOD, FLA. I FUC*** MISS THE 1980S
Tony MacAlpine has mastered so much. Gotta be respected. Incredible musician.
🤘🤘🤘
That throne is the same throne from the movie Little Nicky! Which Ozzy appeared in.
👏👏👏
frusciante can play metal.
That entrance was legendary! Ozzy spinning around in that chair like a Villain.
... And yes I drove from Reno to Sac for Pantera as well.
I am shocked an official dvd wasn't released as well. I remember them calling out the MTV cameras and it being sponsored by Sega Dreamcast ( Sacramento CA 2000 ) Such an amazing show all around.
I remember going to that show...it's was fucking awesome I was so wasted that night.
the guitarist makes me sad
@13:15 probably the most beautiful woman Ive seen in my life
Seen this in 2000 Saratoga ny
What a legend Phil Anselmo is to have started that “Ozzy” chant. The God of Metal
What's Phil doing in 2020? I gotta look that one up
So many titties
The man i came for ;)
What’s weird is Zakk is at this show. He got on stage with Pantera but he didn’t play with Oz. I think Pantera had the slot right before Ozzy. 🤔
I agree with those individuals ,who complain about sync problems. The bassist's solo is completely out of sync/or he has replayed the solo at a later time.Other then that nothing is all that noticable.
Damn, synch issues are outta control on YT these days. Geesh.
Joe Holmes 🎸 weak 👎
Fucking awesome concert ozzy always kicks ass
