    no way this isnt some form of orthorexia. sugar is only bad for you in excess. when you eat these sorts of bars, as a replacement for like snickers bars or regular candy that dont have as much nutritional value and WAY MORE SUGAR, youre better off. being worried about 6 g of sugar is absolutely ridiculous especially if your general sugar intake is low lmao. 6g of sugar doesn't give you diabetes.

    • @SpartanFitnessPro
      @SpartanFitnessPro Год назад

      I see what you are saying for sure. I work my way up to high sugar items in the video like the pop tarts with over 40 grams of sugar per serving. My point is to look at the label rather than seeing the organic label and assuming it’s healthy. Real food like fruit will always be a better option. People have a small chance of overeating apples for example and a higher chance of over eating the fig newtons. That’s all I’m trying to get at.

    There is a few mistakes but in general it's all correct. Glucose is between 80 - 120mg/dL in the blood, keep it in that level and you gonna gain pore muscles, no fat. below 80mg Ghrelin is turning ON, if more than 120mg insulin in turning ON.

    What if I'm eating a low gi diet but I'm still putting on weight. I try to exercise but it's hard as I have CFS and have done for years so exercise that would help me burn fat is hard as I burn out to quickly

    • @SpartanFitnessPro
      @SpartanFitnessPro 2 дня назад

      Total calories consumed is the main issue. As long as you are eating in a caloric deficit you will lose weight. Make sure you prioritize protein and get exercise daily. Exercise is for your brain and mental health.

  • @firezdog
    @firezdog 7 лет назад

    i don't really see why foods with a high glycemic index should go directly to fat based on your explanation. Why should the amount of insulin in the bloodstream determine where excess glucose is stored?

    • @SpartanFitnessPro
      @SpartanFitnessPro 2 дня назад

      The simpler the carbs the more likely you are to be in a caloric surplus. The average person who eats mostly high GI foods is more than likely overeating most of the time. If you are in a caloric deficit than it wont matter much.

    • @SpartanFitnessPro

      Unless you are an enhanced athlete or you plan on always taking it easy, I can't recommend CrossFit as a methodology. It has no progressive overload or linear progression. These two are required for gains. Anyone who makes progress without these two methods is on performance enhancing drugs.

    based on this, it would seem like intermittent fasting, HIIT cardio, and a ketogenic diet optimizes fat loss. intermittent fasting to empty out liver and muscles, HIIT to finish off any stored glycogen and burn fat, and keto to keep insulin low and keep the fat burn going.

    • @SpartanFitnessPro

      Butter, olive oils or any other oils. These foods are 100% fat. Other high fat foods are cheese, bacon, nuts, salmon, fatty cuts of steak etc.
