Hi! These flights we booked a while before. With most airline companies in South-East Asia the flight price is excluding check-in luggage. So you just choose what weight you want en pay a bit extra. With Bangkok Airways it's including luggage (I believe 20kg). A little bit more expensive than other companies, but we really like it.

Haha can be hectic for sure. And about the scooters, especially pay attention around tourists riding them. In our experience their driving is a lot more dangerous than the locals.

Hi! We always get this kind of minivan. Just ask the hotel reception to arrange it. Doesn't take us more than a few minutes. I don't really have the idea that it's really companies. Or maybe just small ones with a few cars. So we don't go for a specific company. We just tell the reception what we need and when, and ask them to arrange it.

Lounges you pay for, but you get food and drinks. We didn't get to go to the quiet rooms. Maybe next time :)

Hi! If you have booked one ticket (and it is with a lay-over) then it will go straight to your end destination. In that case you don't need to do anything in Doha. If you have booked two tickets (one to Doha, and one onwards from Doha), then you have to get your luggage and check in again. Also sometimes it says "self-transfer" when you book a ticket. In that case you have to get your luggage and check it in again as well.

Graag gedaan! Ik zou toch aanraden om het via de officiële kanalen / websites van die landen op te zoeken. Het verandert ook nog weleens namelijk. Wat je ook kunt doen is Nederlandse reisgroepen op Facebook checken voor die specifieke landen. Succes!

We did manage to get it in rental cars 👍🏻 if you go through the big rental car websites you can choose it as an option.

Definitely do what works best for you. A lot of people want to see a bit more of the country and don't travel too much. This is a mix of both. For us it really went well and travel days are nice and easy. Not a big thing at all. Also not for our daughter. She thinks it's fun. Distances are doable and transportation comfortable.

@@alittlesunshinewithjayandbee I'm speaking from experience in Dec 2022. I purchased a SIM from the airport booth, as I needed to call my mother to let her know I'd arrived safely. So I asked the lady in the booth if I could make international calls with this sim? Yes she deceitfully replied, so I bought an alleged months worth of data and calls etc, only to depart on the bus and find that it wouldn't make international calls and the data lasted only 10 days and they charged me 11-1200 baht. My friend bought a SIM in Pattaya for 350 baht with proper data and international calls, which is what I'd always done since 2007. I think they cost 50 baht back then with some uploaded call credit before the days of data and smartphones.

Hi! If all goes well it'll be ok if you have connecting flights, I think. Not really room for unforseen circumstances though. For instance if your first flight is delayed, it'll be a close call.

Yes they are everywhere. We even them selling happy cookies at the pharmacy.

What you're seeing in the video is about 1am. Everything seemed to be open 👍🏻

It's a 24 hour airport. Always something open and going on. flights leave at ours of the day and night.
