haha nice one^^ my newest guide (in the CVA playlist on my channel) is actually made to give people the tools and knowledge to even beat my latest 17 : 47 min run, because im specifically not using the most powerful trick there, but my guide includes that too, so in theory everyone watching the guide should have an advantage over my best run :) with that trick involved, my run could probably be close to 17 : 30 min which is a lot of a difference in speedrunning. and by the way, the original version of the game that i use here runs slower than the collection version, so every time save is worth even more. (there is also commentary in the stream versions of my runs. i always cut that in the video versions, in case you wonder how i freaked out after i got the worlds first ever sub 18 here) anyway thanks for checking by, very appreciated!

haha yeah absolutely! final fest was the most intense event in all of splatoon, especially the super rare 100x matches. (i was soo scared to lose haha) ...and we didn't even know how high the actual stakes were back then and that the result would decide upon the next game's theme!

there is no actual data about any odds of the special battles in splatfests afaik. but you can kinda make your own guess in relation to your frequency of 100x battles. i usually get about 2 100x per splatfest and if other people also have a similar average, then you have to be lucky enough to have 2 players getting their 100x match exactly at the same time to trigger the 333x... so, all i can tell you is the odds are extremely small, but i have no numbers for you :/

interesting approach to do it in reverse, but that implies that someone already made a similar build to what you will end up using for yourself and thus it basically requires someone already making that prototype build somehow and where would they look it up when they were the first person making it...? what i try to say is that your idea is kinda fine, but still somewhat requires the other way around as well to even work. meaning that whoever is the first to make a certain configuration, they have to go roughly by the way i explain in this video. ps: i like haunt too, it's really useful and helps the team a lot if used effectively and with the right playstyle.

for real. final fest was the most epic event in all of splatoon so far. i pray to the cephalogods every day that they figure out a way to make the last splatfest in splatoon 3 as memorable as splatocalypse was.

it's just because the 3-way themes cannot bring the same intensity as 2 opposing sides can. i hope they go back to the 2 side formula in the next game.

Listen, I love the concept of 3 way splatfests, but you right. Nothing ever beats the intensity of two sides going against each other and praying that they will win.

@@MultiCatRain maybe splatoon 4 will have 2v2 which is kinda the same as 2 sides but we gotta see what they do...

@@kalynmiller558 that chaos rules? or is there more? to be honest, both order and chaos are represented in nature so it's not as easy to put one over the other in general. i hope the finalfest in splatoon 3 will be as balanced as this was.

kinda wrong stream here for splatoon 1, but to be fair i used this thumbnail while i was live during my splatoon 1 sendoff stream, which now has a different thumbnail. and yeah, splatoon 1 was a very special game. rip in flat ink.

i think they would have made Splatoon 3 play in a futuristic city or something and the theme would be more about calculatable things in nature, like how DNA always grows in a certain way or every squid has 10 limbs etc... the mathematical and ordered aspect of nature, instead of the chaotic aspect that we got now. and the side order DLC would be side chaos DLC or whatever, but i think it's probably for the better that we got the main game to be themed after chaos imo. i hope we get a good theme for the final fest in Splatoon 3...

@@MazzinYT A good idea for the chaos DLC would be a DLC named: "Chaos Reigns!" Where agent 8 would wake up in a black dress, in a world with flames and red sky, 8 meets Marina and they both go to the foyer, where they'll find some devil-like creatures that are worse than the jelletons. Marina gives 8 a brella by hacking, then, they open the elevator and, instead of Acht, it should be like Marina's buddy from Takotsubo Heartbeat. The elevator will have originally 10 floors going down, you'll fight a boss called "Pearl Distruttrice", which is Pearl dancing in a stage filled with gold ink, this Pearl has a Controller and Chaos suit. The rest is like side order just that Chaos is the Antagonist

i mean im not a fan of people wasting their resources, so i was brainstorming where they could spend them efficiently...

they wanted to play it safe for their first ever game and have something that works on the surface and not risk a crazy story idea that might kill their newly founded company right away. totally understandable, but i wish they had been more confident with their great idea. i hope they learn for next time... and i hope they keep this idea alive because it has a lot of potential.

you have to play salmon run and be lucky that it comes out of one of the bonuses you get there. in the season it was released it was a guaranteed prize, so everyone who played during that time automatically got it. but if you play later, then you need to be a bit lucky to find it in the random bonuses from grizzCo.

i hope it won't turn out a collecting game. that would be boring.

@@Ray4211. lol don't worry, i know my cephalopods and their plurals, but nice try^^ i believe octopi is rather a made up plural that got accepted over time, but is technically wrong. i just chose octopusses because it is the most consistent with the plural "s" attachment, or "es" in that case. you wouldn't say squidi either haha anyway, thanks for the contribution mate, i appreciate it.
