Love this! Will be making some! I learned this trick to make your own curly wool: wet thin strips of wool with hot water, wrap around a stick, steam to set the curls and let dry in the sun or use a blow dryer. This way you can make your curls any color you want.

I have used normal knitting wool combed out with a wire brush for beard and hair. It has a crinkle effect if crinkled tops are not available.

It is so useful to be given an idea of the quantities of felt needed (like a finger length!) and the time it should take to felt each section.
