Doom berg is like a broken record on oil prices going down. And he gets the joke wrong or at least forgot the last part - after then oil folks go running to the newly discovered oil thereby making a spot for our man, St. Peter invites him in and he says, naw I might just as well go see about that new oil discovery. Doom is popular but he’s also dogmatic. Notice how he had to fight to get in a plug for his sub stack at the end - I’d be hard pressed to see how Maggie brings him back on - very contentious interview. She was extremely offended by the comment about MSM which is actually true.

Thanks for calling Doomberg out on his “liberal media” bs. He’s long been claiming to be apolitical but since Trump’s election he’s showing himself to be a Trump cheerleader and I think it’s clouding his investing judgment. To wit, his claim that Canada and Mexico caved after threats of tariffs is specious. Mexico started moving troops to the border in 2017 and the latest announcement of 10,000 additional troops was negotiated by the Biden administration. And the Canada “fentanyl czar” and a billion dollars for border security was agreed on in December. The real story is Trump blinked on a 2% decline in SPY after the 25% tariff and he caved the same day. Doomberg seems to be captured in a right wing news algorithm and believes it.

First, about not repeating history mistakes, Chamberlain lied about being anti-war...and everyone believed him. Britain has been one of the most aggressive nations in history. There's hardly any nation that has not been invaded by the British at one time or another. The British let the nazis start invasions because they expected them to destroy the Soviet Union. Britain got the best karma, the menace that they let grow (and actually gave rise by digging into) that menace failed to crush a nation that was hardly a problem (beyond their paranoia) and instead gave them a lethal blow from which the British were not able to recover. Next, what the USA is getting now is also karma. The USA supported the destruction of ancient China, from which communist China was born. I perfectly know people like domberg strongly promote western propaganda, especially favorable to the USA. But there's nothing to brag. The British convinced everyone that they were the finest people on earth, but in China they did drug business to a level that the current drug crisis in the USA is nothing. Not only the British used to sell opium, but when the Chinese government banned it, the British invaded China and did plenty of unnecessary destruction, like destroying the Chinese equivalent of Buckingham palace. Next, they stole the territory of Hong Kong, where they did not ran a democracy for most of its occupation. The USA helped the British. And finally, it's time to stop the lie that the USA is democratic. Jotting down a cross in a ballot is worthless and it only supports the mafia that rules over us. But maybe most Americans cannot see the truth because you are too busy criticizing other countries, which is even dumber because you have no relevance in the local politics. Yet, plenty of Americans are on board with the government in messing with other countries.

Ukraine has been fighting with an arm and leg tied behind It's back. If Ukraine looses this war ii is because the US let it happen. I dont think there is one person around in Eastern Europe that believes NATO was involved in a war.. some belated usually old weaponry that came with zillions of conditions, compare that with the help russians are getting from north korea or iran, interms of ammo to be used at will and actual troops. Ukraine had chances to destroy black sea fleet and their best airplanes if only they got a green light to pull the trigger, but they didnt, now we complain how expensive it is.. well ofc its expensive if you dont allow to win. But even now, as Ukraine on its own developed long range drones and missiles are on a way, the destruction is becoming a lot more symmetric, what is the rush for temporary truce to allow them to rearm ? Inflation is raging in Russia, so is internal hatred amongst nationalities, problems with migration that they desperately rely on, its ridiculous to claim that won anything there

Sure, to be more accurate, he should have said, "... most media organizations, not necessarily all those working for them, and most Democratic party leaders..."
