AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE! | Wall-E Reaction
Welcome to my movie reaction and review of Wall-E! This movie released in 2008 and was one of the few Pixar movies that slipped away from me. This is my first time watching Wall-E and immediately, I was reminded of Bojack Horseman's "Fish Out Of Water" episode. So much emotion conveyed with little use of words! I hope you all enjoy my reaction to Wall-E!

I never noticed the foreshadowing with Auto in the portraits, I knew he was always behind each Captain, but I never picked up on its growing in size (or just getting closer) to each successive Captain, until you paused and mentioned it! Thank you for that =)
yea... every human on that planet died after they landed. like... No shelter nor any form of materials to build any. neither any form of real protection from anything earth throws at them on top of the fact that we don't see anything after they land.
Great reaction, as always, Ever. The way Shifu's fake death got you was hilarious. BTW, the title says "Kung Fu Panda 2"
My sisters and I microwaved a dish towl to warm up with, but it started burning, so to hide the evidence we took it to the fireplace and burnt it to ashes.
The credits had the future scenes. The Arks were designed to resettle Earth when the environment recovered enough
I naively thought i won't cry this time. Nope
Impossible
14:05 This movie 😂 I loved it. We got a dog some time after seeing this when I was a kid and we wrote names on paper. Mine got picked Rino was the winner! That dog was a runner though, would come and go under the fence gate. 😂 Been years since we saw him, quite sad.
48:15 Sorry bud. Every and all views into the future were in the credits segment.
I know :/ I saw after, just didn't include it because I wanted it in the same animation style and all - not the art we got...but it was better than nothing haha
@EversBlockbusters Ah, okay then good to know and well… I liked it.
@@EversBlockbusters The art style at the end credits was done in a sort of 'The History of the evolution of human art'. Showing it's generations going by.
This is my favorite of the series hands down. Such an emotional roller coaster ❤.
WAY more emotional ups and downs than the first haha
You were asking for a shot of the future at the end, yet you missed the credits that loterally had that
Dont know if youve seen it or not, but definetly check out transformers one, definetly one of best animated films of 2024
I've not seen it. Idk if that'll fit with my current plan but I'll keep it in mind! :D
this has absolutely been my favorite childhood movie, that i've seen multiple times. out of all the times ive seen it i never noticed the lil mike wazowski! oh and another brief easter egg they showed was a dusty version of rex from toy story(rex is on one of wall-E's racks of collectables in the beginning) and the pizza planet truck from toy story as well. (the truck that eve scanned)
Ahhh, definitely missed the other two. I try to be careful with the Pixar movies cause I know they load them up with easter eggs 😅
59:25 😂 He's so ready for the sequel
The Blue Danube was used in the scene where The Captain wakes up as he was going through his morning routine (getting teeth brushed, getting "dressed", having a massage etc.). That is also a slight reference to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Oddesey where that tune was also played at some point.
47:41 I think when the spark passed from Eve to Wall-e, it was a part of him that was saved in Eve in that very moment they kissed from elation and happiness the two shared after the escape pod situation. I theorize it was like a save point / memories of Wall-e’s up to that point until the circumstances is similarly repeated, a very tender moment of extreme emotions and physical touch. It’s this process that allowed a transfer back to Wall-e his memories and sense of self! 😭😩🥺
Ben Burtt, who voices WALL-E, is the Sound Effects guy from the original six Star Wars movies and the first four Indiana Jones movies, having created the sound effects for the blasters, R2-D2's voice, Darth Vader's breathing, the lightsabers, the TIE FIghter sounds, the list goes on. Not only did he voice WALL-E and M-O plus the majority of male robots, he was also involved early on in production creating the sound effects for the movie (which rarley, if ever happens, it something that usually happens in post-prodction, live action or animated) as director Andrew Stanton wanted to make a "silent film" and therefore rely more on the sounds rather than dialouge (sure there are some but there are fewer than typically are in average movie, The Triplets of Belleville is also a movie with very little dialouge). Elisa Knight, who voices EVE, is a Pixar employee who previously voiced Tia in Cars. Jeff Garlin, who voices Captain B. McCrea, is known for appearing in Curb Your Imagination and the movie Daddy Day Care. He later voiced Buttercup in Toy Story 3 and 4, plus several Toy Story spin-off shorts. John Ratzenberg, who voices John (his namesake), well... don'I have tell much about him if you have seen a bunch of Pixar films between 1995 and 2020 but I will anyway. He have played Pixar characters from Toy Story to Onward, as a good luck charm, similar to how Disney Animation does with Alan Tudyk. He stopped doing "voice cameos" from Soul rumored because he wanted a bigger voice role than just a line or two but was refused and with the streak broken, Pixar stopped using him except for reprising as Fritz in Inside Out 2 and most likely reprise any character he have done in previous movies, like Hamm for the upcoming Toy Stoyrÿ 5 , He also played Cliff on the show Cheers and bit part of Major Derlin in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Kathy Najimy, who voices Mary, she have played Beverly "Bev" Pear in Rat Race, being in Sister Act 1 and 2, Hocus Pocus 1 and 2 and appeared in the defunct Magic Kingdom attraction ExtraTERRORestrial: Alien Encounter where she played Dr. Femus. You should know about Signourney Weaver as she is well-known by movie fans and sci-fi fans as she played Elen Ripley in first five movies in the Alien franchise, played Dana Barrett in the Ghostbusters movies, Diane Fossey in Gorillas in the Mist and as Dr Grace. Augustine in Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water and Kiri in the latter, plus will reprise as Kiri in the upcoming Avar: Fire and Ash and Avatar 4. She later appeared as herself in Finding Dory, also directed by Andrew Stanton. In this movie, she voices the Ship Computer, which was a bit of a reference to MOTHER in Alien, a joke that Sigourney got right away when Stanton said it to her.
Lobed your reaction so much!! You are so funny haha
the one thing that always makes me question this movie is , where did those babies come from? Clearly no one is "active"
🤣🤣🤣
nice reaction
Thanks!
31:23 that’s not the cleaner robot, thats Mo3, this was a helper of Auto the evil robot in this movie, just thought id let you know :>>>
Ahh, thnak you thank you!
The "malfunctioning" robots are the ones that Wall-E caused to crash into each other, when he arrived on the Axiom. They were all there to be checked for damage. That's why the love him when they broke out... He caused them to be different, made them unique with their glitches. Then, he gave them their freedom, when he blasted through the wall. Edit: If you want to see what Earth looks like years later, you need to watch the full credits.
Mo (all clean) wasn't the robot that put the plant in the escape pod. It was Otto's buddy that did it. They must have got to Eve while they were both going up the elevator to the bridge.
Oooh, thank you!
your depressed? no worry, eat medecine and every gonna be ok, no therapy, no parenting help, no emotional help, only drink medecine is the solution, thx Ever's blockbuster for the solution for that problem, just drgs is the solution
I'm annoyed. Another reactor who missed/skipped/left out the end credits.
I watched them - I just didn't include it. My reaction didn't elicit being included.
A good memory can change into a sad memory when that time of your life is over. You feel sad because that type of memory won’t ever happen again. A saying that I’ve always loved is “you can be sad that it’s over, but you should be happy that it happened”
we need a reaction to the 3rd movie too! its SO GOOD
I definitely plan to watch it! Have to before the new one comes out!
This movie is one of Pixar's best in my opinion - they did such a good job of getting their point across and making us care about little robots
Not only that, but doing it with such little dialogue. So good!
Y'know, now that I think about it, the time between Eve landing on earth, finding the plant and shutting off, and flying back to the Axion could have been years.
Ooh didn't consider that - it very well likely was a long time!
Is this a reupload since I feel like I remember seeing you react to this movie?
Same, I've definitely seen this reaction before.
It is. Video was completely dead in the water so I wanted to see if reuploading would do anything. Sorry for the confusion!
Wall-E had 700 years to develop memories and emotions, far from his intended life span and purpose. So when he was rebuilt by Eve he basically rebooted and started over factory fresh. I like to think Eve acquired all of his memory through the spark when they "kissed" in outer space and she inadvertently reloaded all those memories back into Wall-E in the same manner at the end, waking him up.
Awh, that's a sweet theory. I'm mentally taking this one haha
hey I’m Ryan I have a movie request Austin powers international man of mystery and if you can wear ladies long leather gloves for the movie
I’m getting déjà vu
Big same
This movie is absolutely incredible. I love how Wall-e is so expressive and relatable without saying a word. This movie made a love story between two mostly silent machines, not only work but soar. Wall-e and Eve have more chemistry than most of the couples in romance films. That's insane to think about. And of course, the environmental message is more relevant now than ever before. I'm surprised a corporation like Disney allowed Pixar to make it.
Bolt is basically The movie The Truman Show but staring a white German shepherd
14:39 OMG NOOOOOOOO now I wish that was part of it :(((
I'm still mad about it lol
U made me laugh so hard during the first part lmao😂
👏👏
Can you watch Kung Fu Panda 3.
I plan to!
"hell's greatest dad" and "other friends" sound similar because they share a genre, *electro swing* 😭😭😭
I'm about to LOAD up my spotify with electro swing
Really enjoyed watching your enthusiastic reaction esp love the appreciation to the whole movie!
Thanks a ton for watching!
Can you watch Inside Out 2.
Yes! I've watched it, I'm working on clearing copyright to get it on here!
There's even a wii game for bolt I played with a friend when I was younger.
I had a wii, totally missed that game! I bet it was fun
The first time we see pink shes throwing a tantrum and punches a mirror so its not a suprise that shes childish here imo
Of course good memories can become sad. When you lose something you loved very much, the memories of it are "bitter sweet." They've been touched by sadness because it's lost and you'll never have it again. She moved away from the only home she's ever known and all her friends are hundreds of miles away. Of course all those memories of what she's lost will be touched by sadness now. But having said that, you can't fully appreciate joy without having experienced sadness. It's all part of the human experience. She's just a little girl so this is her first serious brush with that. Things feel devastating when we're young because we lack experience. A lot of our firsts happen when we're young and to a child those things feel like either the end of the world or a bright, shiny new and wonderful world. The older we grow, the more we experience and the less our emotions get out of our control. All of this mess happened because of the toxic positivity of Joy. Obviously Joy is IN Riley so she's doing it to herself. But At her age, emotions are more apt to get out of control. She feels the sadness but she's pushing it away because she's not accustomed to this level of sadness. She's fighting against it. Mom coming in and asking her to stay "happy for her dad" did NOT help the situation. Mom meant well. It's a great example of how parents try so hard but sometimes they do say or do the wrong thing...especially with their first child. They're only human too, after all. Joy was suppressing Sadness with all her might. She was even stopping the bad dreams. Our brains use dreams to process what happened during the day. We need that. At the end of the day, we need ALL the emotions including sadness. We're not complete people without them and suppressing any of them is not good for anyone. Edit: Mom's lead is sadness because empathy comes from sadness. so mom leads with empathy. Dad's anger is representing his instinct to protect and provide for his family in any way possible, even aggressively.
He was so excited about looking into other people heads but didn't react to the end credits which had a whole bunch
I also strongly recommend Encanto, Elemental, Frozen 1 & 2.
My two favorite scenes in this film is the argument between Merida and her mom, because it was acted so well! The entire film is, but it’s such an emotional scene and feels like a very real argument with very legitimate emotional reactions. My other favorite is when Merida defends her mom against her father. That choice was a no brainer for her but still difficult nonetheless. To draw a weapon against her own father, who she also loves. She would have died protecting her mother. Should mention, I wanted to be an animator. So I’m a bit of an animation nerd. Also the Witch is Mrs Weasley from Harry Potter and Robbie Coltrain (Haggrid) plays another character. I love this movie. You should always have the right to choose your own destiny. And at that age, I’d probably not be ready for marriage either! The end also makes me cry when Elenor’s eyes change.
Reilly asking her parents not to be angry for her being unhappy breaks my heart. Bing bong can’t even live on through her memories as he made the ultimate sacrifice to be forgotten to save her. The girl who played Boo in Monsters Inc also played Reilly as a toddler. They had enough sound clips lefter over from MI to use for IO. The girl (now an adult) has a video on YT explaining the story. She otherwise isn’t in the entertainment business but one of her parents worked for Disney and they needed a young kid, which is how she became the voice. They followed her around with a microphone for hours lol. So Reilly’s tantrum, was a legit tantrum from a little girl.
25:14 yeah about that 😭
I moved from the Mobile Home to the Mountain House when I was six, then from New Mexico to Oklahoma when I was eleven.
