Palindrome Coaster Update - Circuit of the Americas
Palindrome, a new Gerstlauer Eurofighter roller coaster, is being built at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. Join my for a quick construction update to see the diving drop and newly constructed roadway crossover.
This exciting roller coaster is slated to open in 2025 followed by another roller coaster, Circuit Breaker. With the completion of this, COTA will open a new amusement park called COTA Land!

Thanks so much! Sorry for the trigger. I should probably say roller coaster project 2025 but more likely 2026 with the lack of construction going on but you never know. Nothing is confirmed.

Joker is such a hard one to get my wife has been 3 times and still doesn't have it. She's going down for the day herself in a few weeks but only to Funspot. If it's open that day she probably gonna go get it! I Love Blue Hawk like 3 or 4 in the park for me!
I'm sure I'll make it back again. I really love this park despite the operations and I'll be sure to get them all. Definitely excited for Blue Hawk

I just hope they can get the audio working again on X2. I mean, that’s like the cherry on top. The fire effect however, did work yesterday when I rode.

Was just there! I am Going back next week! I had a night ride on Ghost Rider. It was a 2 hour wait but it was worth it.
Big Bad Wolf, Eagle Fortress, Drachen Fire, Volcano, Hypersonic XLC. I would also include the 3 Togo standups in the USA but that’s because I liked them.

No mention of Z-Force at SFGA? That ride was something else - switchbacks and sore necks, but it was great back in the day. And my second ride would be son of the beast at KI - before the loop removal. Maybe an honorable mention to disaster transport at CP - but only when all the pre-ride queue theming was still in place and worked.
I only got to experience Z Force as Flashback at SFMM but it was definitely an interesting ride but didn't find it the most entertaining especially having the long waits with such a low capacity ride.
The fantasy I have is what if RMC had been around to save Son of Beast?
That would have been very interesting. Maybe they would do their first vertical loop.
When Deja Vu moved to Six Flags New England I heard they ruined it. Now a couple of defunct rides I wish could have stayed or could come back are the Log Jammer at Six Flags Magic Mountain, People Mover at Disneyland, and the Vortex at Kings Island. I never made it to Kings Island before this Arrow multi looper was removed. I also wish Six Flags Magic Mountain didn’t remove Spin Out, which was their Rotor ride. It was similar to a Gravitron ride but more old school, where the floor dropped out from under the riders instead of the mats that everybody stands against sliding upward. It was also more dizzying. Also I will mention while not technically defunct, the Haunted Mine Drop at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It’s now called the Crystal Tower or something like that. I just don’t get why they have to change the theme because of a tragedy. I think they just could have modified the restraint system and idiot proofed the dispatch mechanism. However, I’m glad I still can do an underground drop ride.
