Identity force cancelled on me today. The card I signed up with had been deactivated, so I added a new card a week ago. They charged the old card anyways, and since it was rejected, they just canceled everything. I called before it charged either card, and was on the phone with customer service explaining they need to charge the new card instead. While I was on the phone with her, they cancelled the account. She tried to say that all I could do was sign up for a new account (instead of reopening my account). Horrible customer service! I do NOT recommend!

This is soo fcking r3t4rded. I got a Christmas gift card from my company and it doesn’t work anywhere. Then I have to go looking for ways to transfer on zelle, cash app, venmo, etc. They all put up roadblocks. Like wtf bro, I’m just trying to buy some baseball cards off eBay, not run a drug empire off of gift cards. Shit is soo infuriating. What good is a card if it only works on Amazon

What about the lawsuits of data extortion? That's all those companies do, like truthfinder. They source data information of everyone then sell it to those with an interest who will pay $ for it which is extortion! It's tech fraud & people should be entitled to a portion of the sales & people should be able to opt out their intellectual & physical property data from these companies extorting it! The companies should be having to contact people before data is sourced or sold for permission first which isn't happening! I shouldn't have to be paying a company like Aura a monthly fee to stop the unlawful extortion of my intellectual & physical property data, public or not public!

Big bank entities making people believe that cash is a tacky gift, so giftcards is the way to go. Fricken' bs. Giftcards are nothing but problems. Moreover, the banks save LOADS of cash for people not using all of their cards up, e.g., 1.25 here, .050 here, etc. It all adds up. If you ever want to give a gift, really take a look a who you're giving it to. If it's to your kid who you know has a lot of bills, don't give him or her a gift card. It's like ultimately giving a gift that greatly annoys and costs 15-25 percent to "trade it in".

I just want to save you time guys. I called and after all the card info is entered. Pressed the FAQ option. Then pressed "Questions about gas pump & making online purchase" they straight up say "you cannot register your card to an address." It sucks, I haven't tried any of the loop holes yet, so I can't vouch for any, and many there is. 🤨

This is factually wrong, Paypal and Venmo do not accept Gift cards anymore. They haven't in years.

I'm sure as shit that this is a rip off or worse. Because trusting a company that wants all my personal info to protect me from data brokers frankly sounds like complete horseshit. If they aren't going to sell that stuff themselves, I am actually going to believe in God.

Aura is a rip off. I would not waste my money. They do nothing. They charged me again without my permission, after being told ahead of time that I did not want their service because I didn't think it was worth it. When I called them for a refund they said it will take me up to 30 days to get my money back. If they can't monitor their own company they don't need to monitor others. A total rip off in my opinion.

So you really need to trust them. You’re literally giving one company all your information. What if they get hacked? What if they have malicious employees?

the Vanilla Gift Cards is a Scam! I got a $50 giftcard that i activated and it was declined when i used it. I called the company third party and a indian Lady picked up and said my card was compermised ? She wanted all my information to send me a new one. I was not going to risk giving my info. Im going to take this gift card as a loss. Has this happened to you?

None of these methods work both PayPal and venmo ask for a zip code and a gift card has no gift code. This is ridiculous.
