Thank you.finally someone nailed it. They dont need to strain their vocal or try too hard to perform an overcomplicated songs to have a catchy song. I think this MV was chosen wisely ,a fresh of breath air to all girl groups that think every teenager should sing like every song is their last song or rap like the train is leaving. I think they are mature and talented enuf to be "cool" they have my vote as the best debut in 5th Gen.

First of all, thank you for your reaction video. As you said, even I was wondering whether this music video is a metaphor of their experience as outsiders in K-Pop industry. I am happy that DR Music increased their production budget which is visible in quality. By the way, Roll Up is showing higher sales growth from Karma era.

I've been waiting for your reaction to this because you always have interesting commentary about BLackswan. Like I think you are correct when you say they aren't burning the house down, I think it's more that they are trailblazers, they are burning a new path through K-pop. They have arrived at the frontier (of Kpop) and as an all foreign team they have to create space that wasn't there before and controlled fire can do that. Also I didn't think about the dancers literally joining their team right from the saloon but it seems so obvious now you've said it lol. Anyway I look forward to any more videos you make about Blackswan you always give me so much more to think about 🫶

Just so you know the choreography was done by Kany (she is senegal (west african)/ immigrated to france then the US- similar to fatou story). She currently lives in Korea and she also has choreographed for a lot of US celebrities, especially beyonce's M/V's, dance choreography and dance performances. The whole M/V is very similar to beyonce's r and b and hip hop vibes but has more of a kpop/wild-west element. She is also very good friends with Shinee Key, who is not only a second generation star with his group, but has also choreographed for many kpop idol groups, trainees with Kany. Key and Kany have a lot of connections in the kpop industry and have both individually or working with other korean choreographers created dance choreographies for many kpop idols groups and trainees in the kpop industry. They are considered 'Masters' in the kpop industry.
