You should definitely learn some socd stuff there are much easier and more consistent ways to input electrics and backdashes/wave dashes I’d look into it if ur gonna stick with leaverless for example for electrics you press forward down and then with ur right hand while holding down you press forward and the attack button if that makes sense. I literally can’t do a single electric on pad maybe like 1/100 at best but using that method I can hit electrics about 99% of the time. On RUclips just look up like teeken leaverless shortcuts or socd or something along those lines you will definitely find a lot of useful tech that will make stuff much easier and more consistent to do good luck

Great video. I definitely experiment with different hand placements and moving them around for maximum efficiency. Just because the movement buttons are on the left side of the controller doesn't mean you can only use your left hand to move. And just because your attack buttons are on the right side of the controller doesn't mean you can only use your right hand to attack. For example, with Mishima characters, you can use your right index finger to hit forward, your left middle finger to hit down, using your right middle finger to hit the punch button for guaranteed EWGF every time.

Very cool. Early game you use sidestepping. Later game you use it less. Of course also depends on the enemy. From my experience side stepping ist strongest against akira and jean. And you mention spacing isn't as important in VF. Against the monk for me nothing works (side stepping, blocking) because it's so hard to find a attack window. Only keeping distance works well for me against the monk. So spacing fully exists, but it depends on the characters on how much. Just my novice opinions :)
