Yea I think the actual track is originally a dirt bike track. Just goes to show that the Jimny can fit almost anywhere

I read up on the Kia's system, and it seems that you can't do it the way that I described in the video. So the second tip would not apply to you since it seems to be designed that that way.

Not planning on modifying mine. I would have loved if they added an extra gear to the manual and two in the auto to make it more fuel efficient on the highway. I agree with the engine comment as well. Even if they decided to stick with the 1.5, they could have tuned it to get more power and torque from it. I do think if they gave it more power they would probably have to adjust the suspension system to make it more balanced at higher speeds

@@pauldrives876 when i get my jimny fixed up i would love to get the chance to do a video with you, i got a 2000 gen 3 so one of the earler ones even more spartan than gen 3 but not the most spartan ones out there. right now im doing major work to it, gearbox, engine, rear diff, transfer case got rechained gonna be swapping it out, a lot of work lol

Yea,the Cx-5 is a cool vehicle. The dealer and a couple of parts stores supply the parts. As to the variety of parts that they carry, I'm not sure.

@victoria14ify during the day when it's not raining or cloudy. It can get as high as 31C, but only for a couple of hours during the middle of the day

I've upgrade the tyres to 215/75/15... It does feel more planted, until I go over a bump then the shocks remind me that they need to be upgraded as well. I'm running them at 26 psi and so far so good. I'm contemplating upgrading the suspension but I don't want to do a lift, so I'm doing more research on that (maybe adjustable shock absorbers).

@@pauldrives876 to be fair the more weight added the worse the jimny will handle on factory suspension. What’s the reason you don’t want a lift kit installed, if it’s the money and you don’t have it then I understand. If it’s concern about the vehicle warranty I also understand, but trust me when I say Suzuki is the worst automobile manufacturer to honour warranties. They just don’t honour or back their product unless it’s a recall. Anyway it’s your jimny, love the colour it’s a shame it’s an auto but that’s good for resale. You moved up with tyres which is great news, let us know what you will do about your suspension once your mind is made up.

At the current rate of jmd $230 per litre for 90 octane, I'll spend $6300jmd for a full tank. (Not from empty but from a quarter tank). I'll get about 200km in the city. If I'm mainly doing highway runs(maintaining about 100km/hr) I'll get around 430km.

The only maintenance I do is wash and Armoral lol, apart from regular service every 7,500kms, which is approximately jmd$21,092.

The fuel economy has been affected by changing the tyre size from the stock tyres to 225/75/15. I'll be doing a video about that in a little while.

It is on the larger side but you get a vehicle that it able to handle the rough roads, the roads when they turn into rivers and comfort for the family

You'd like the Sport and the Wildernes models. The sport comes with two tone seats and orange stitching while the Wilderness comes with Copper accents in the interior .

@@pauldrives876 That’s exactly why I DIDNT buy those trim models. For 34 years every automaker has been shoving Gloomy, depressing, drab, boring, outdated Grey, Charcoal Grey or Black interior colors down Everyone’s throats since 1990, which was in the last millennium. We are so tired of those colors that we even had our pickup reupholstered in a different color than the grey and charcoal gray. My wife’s Outback has Ivory interior and my Forester has Saddle Brown interior.

You do make a valid point, we should have more options for the interior at the lower trim levels instead having to pay more in some cases for only a change in the interior
