For the parts with harmony (which I realize is a bit high for my voice lol) I was thinking maybe the statues start singing along with her that would be nice and creepy.

I'm honestly not a fan of the reprise, your singing is beautiful, but I mean in terms of character. The studio version of 'The Way It Ends' has those subtle hints during the first verse that L knows he's going to die, and that's lost here, am I the only one who feels like it makes L look a little less smart? Not saying I hate the Way Things Are though, just the reprise.

I too love the strong irony "We All Need a Hero" has and the divine song and lyrics of "When Love Comes". It's interesting that Wildhorn originally liked the singing voice of the actor who played Rem (Megumi Hamada), and he made "When Love Comes" first. Furthermore, the fact that she and the actor who played Misa both shed tears during "When Love Comes" makes us cry even more. (Based on an interview with Hamada.)

What's interesting is that chances are is this musical was likely originally written in English (or at least partially). The music is by Frank Wildhorn. And he generally writes in English. But it's possible that the book was written in Japanese and the Songs written in English and then translated.

I love this so much. Is there a place to download this? I would totally put it a player to listen to like an audiobook.
