Would be interesting to get more performance out of my 10 GS460. Transmission takes a little bit to think. After it gets used to your driving and you jump on it the shifts feel a bit aggressive and quick but doesn’t go to 7K.
I've been seeing it a lot where people are swapping in the tcu from the isf. May be something to look into

Whats up bro i have a 06 gs430 when downshifting from 2nd to 1st i am having a buck or jerk once coming to a stop i have done a lil research on it but not quite sure...no check engine light...i did only once have a solenoid B code only once...what would you recommend....

The GS is lighter I believe so it’s faster even tho same drivetrain
How do these compare to a ls460
Rc350 has a great transmission too very quick and responsive shifts and it doesn’t slow the car down during downshifts the shifts are quick and clean especially in sport mode and with traction fully off it will redline the gears until you choose to shift

Found out these Lexus 8 Speeds are similar to the Aisin 8 speed in my Porsche Cayenne S and sure enough the gear ratios look almost identical (minus your different rear end) and the shift speed is about the same as the Cayenne is full Sport PSM off mode. It's a great transmission that can be lightening quick but also super smooth.

@@gastric574 not much of a HP gain really but helps with launching the car and revving it up to 4000rpms because getting off the line. Benefits if you have a dragstrip build or do alot of dig races. Really helps the car launch hard !
Look arond /ring .. you get them uptuned .. mine 342 now for extra $1k had a uptune now 400 + a couple .. HP .. the gs is a detuned ls with a smaller manifold (couldnt have lux salon same H P as their sports model so they detuned the 390 to 342 .) ... most performance shops be able to do it , 20min job , and there are many dif upgrades to choose from ... handles it cause its a detuned 400HP anyway ... start ringing ...
More hp to the wheels 👌 less drivetrain loss

I think the is350 would take it from a dig but the 460 would take it from a roll and top end
Honestly the Downshift when doing a WOT pull gets on my Nerves in my IS350

Those ECU don't support reflash. They need to be tuned with a piggyback or standalone
@@svabbinanti I wish I knew someone who could do it I got the RR racing tune for my both on ISF and that works pretty good
@@nathanlopez5667 piggyback are pretty simple to tune. Much less involved than reflash or standalone tuning
