The thing that I love about this remix that many get wrong is reconveying the track as a "march". Halloween Hack has a surprisingly unique Megalovania, despite missing like several iconic sections. It's built around being slow and burning down the player, not being excessively fast and frantic. And honestly, this remix captured that perfectly. The drums are paced consistently, almost like they act as a literal heartbeat. It's menacing, and it's what made the interpretation of Paula's battle for Deltatraveler so crazily good. It wasn't about fast paced fury. It was about making you pay for your fuck-up.
