Просмотров 6866 лет назад
Today i will be doing a wheel cleaner comparison between black magic and auto drive. Both wheel cleaners are a spray on and hose off. So i will be testing if they can properly clean without brushing the wheels.

My 2007 Infiniti m35 with muffler delete. Please subscribe. Thank you.
Car name
Sounds like just what I need. Looking get mine this summer.
What’s the measurements required for the exhaust tips on the m?
I just bought an M45 and this was already done. I didn’t even know this was a thing. Are there cross drill rotors available?
Sounds good 👍🏽
If you don't mind me asking, what did the install run you?
Can u use the same brake lines ?
Yes
Reginald is there really that much difference btw the max xds you used and the max xds black finish rotors
Hey do you know if I have to install spacers and what size, I have an 08 M35X but mine came with the 19inch rims from the Sport model
I believe 20mm
@@reggie_m45 any brand you could recommend
Reginald where you located, what state
Maryland
How many new banjo bolts do I need?
I believe just the front 2. But get 4 just in case
@@reggie_m45 thank you. And do you know what braided lines fit on the M 35
@@mosthated8186 not sure.
Did you tint your taillights yourself or did you buy the taillights already tinted?
Yup did it myself
did you put the bbk on the rear and is the stock caliper mounting bolts compatible with bbk caliper ?
Yes and yes.
Sounds great 👍
Did you have to use wheel spacers???
That depends on what wheels you are using.
I watched the video and I’m confused, I’ve got a 2006 m35 and I wanna do the big brake upgrade. Do I just need to change the brake lines and get the calipers and rotors ?
I have 2007 m35x and I’m doing upgrade can I use my OEM rims still with a 15mm spacer my rotor size is 15x14
Possibly
Would be hilarious if someone ran up and snatched the camera
😂😂😂
Hey man, how have the power stop brakes held up? I’m looking to buy these but I wanna know if they’re good long term !
I sold the car but they are still working great.
I have a g37 is it the same process can i use the same brake line or I gotta buy new ones
It's the same, you can use your existing brake lines. Just need different banjo bolts
@@reggie_m45 oh okay what about your rotors
@@BryanReyes-xj6dd what about them? Just look for g37 sport rotors
Its 4 hours not 1 hour when u use a floor jack and take time to clean everything right. And please dont spend less than $1000 on this conversion. Good akibono pads and rotors alone are $600 online. You want a good quality set of calipers also for a conversion. Dont go cheap on your brakes, you will spend more in the long run trust me on that.
hey bro quick question, are those parts on your info all I needed if I'm going to upgrade my calipers? Thanks and appreciate it!
Yup.
Yessirskii🙌🏽 thanks for this video broski!! sum people be tryna make shit complicated🤦🏽♂️ Will this brake set fit in my sport g37x?
Yes it will
@@jrtrippy1795 got mine from rockauto
@@jrtrippy1795 I listed the part numbers
@@reggie_m45 appreciate you!
@@reggie_m45 bro one more thing please, what diameters you picked for the rotors on maxbrakes??
Do you pass emissions still ?
Yes. It doesn't throw a check engine light.
@@reggie_m45 ok cool I have a 09 m35x I need to fix exhaust system it's cracked and catalytic system would you keep and fix or give it up for a 09 g37x for 5000 that need the radiator to be fixed and thermostat
200 on the m35 and 137 on the g37
What type of rims are they? And what is the specs that you are running?
Versenta ve239 9in in the front 10.5in in the rear.
Did you have to upgrade the brake lines as well? Keep hearing you do
Nope. I may one day.
Everyone in Glen Burnie races lol. Especially by the La Quinta on G Ritchie highway
What are you talking about?
hey bud, awesome content! i have a quick question, i'm not sure if this was asked already. there are 3 different sizes for the front rotors (320mm, 330mm & 355mm). will they all work or do we need to get a specific size?? i think the coupe and sedan have different brake rotor sizes... i am trying to do this upgrade on my 2006 m45 sport. cant wait to get started. thanks for the great video.
You need 355mm rotors
@@reggie_m45 thank you sir!
Is it bad for this car to not have back pressure
A muffler delete does not fully delete back pressure if that's what you are thinking.
How many banjo bolts do I need?
4
Will this match up to an 03 m45?
Not sure.
Does this work on q50/q60
Yes.
I just bought some of these but I honestly don’t know which type of brake pads I need to get. Can you help?
Check my description. It's a link for pads and rotors
Reginald Jones I did but nothing’s coming up
Nice job, bro! Is it proper rotors and pads? m.maxbrakes.com/en-us/select_detail
That's correct
Did this upgrade on my 03 g35, bought front and rear calipers with both front and rear rotors off a wrecked 37s had them turned, picked up z1 ss brake lines, z1 mounting bracket new czp akebono decals new brake pads all around and did it for 700....😁
So you order the S6232 and got the Akebono brake callipers Correct. Not the power stop ones advertised?
Correct. They are just rebuilt.
Reginald Jones okay so oh the site Power Stop L6183 would they look the same but without the red paint?
@@richphero106 correct.
Reginald Jones so again they will not look like the factory non sport callipers but like the sport Akebono callipers? I google the part number and they showed up strange.
@@richphero106 you will get what you see in the picture on rockauto
Wassup Reginald, I'm very grateful for your post on the big brake calipers. Right now I'm in the Market to change my OEM brake system on my 08 Infiniti M35x to the big brakes, I been shopping online on conceptzperformance.com and Tunerzstore.com I'm a beginner in changing my kit, I just would like to know what do I need and how can I get it at a more affordable pricing. At your earliest convenience please reach back to me. Thanks.
Check my description. Every part is listed you may have to do some manual searching on the sites I listed.
m.maxbrakes.com/en-us/select_detail update listing for rotors
The front calipers are on rockauto but I currently do not see the rears
Thanks for the response bro. I appreciate it and keep you updated on the progress
@@mrmonroe8820 no problem
Nice video, but uuuummmmmm..... How is it an upgrade for under $400 when the calipers alone cost $418 per your description???.
Did you not read the part about the core? That brings the calipers down to around $200
Where did you find your headlights. Iv been looking for those and are they the ones that turn as you turn a corner?
They are factory headlights and yes they are adaptive. Comes on the sport package.
hey would these clear stock G37 journey wheels?? nice work!!
Thx. I'm not sure. I doubt it.
@@reggie_m45 thanks i will see of i need spacers i like the sleeper look I had a g8 before and kept the stock wheels with brembos
I installed mine on the G37xs 2009, When we install the Akebono caliper, We put the bolt, washer into the both bracket and tighten it and that caused the rotors to grind inside the caliper. So we couldn't figure it out why, we check the piston to make sure they were all the way in but no luck, so what we had to do is to take the washer and place in between the bracket and Akebono caliper. So you have the bolt- bracket- washer and caliper. but on yours you put the caliper and then you just put the Caliper brackets bolts in and you had no issues wow. Feels like something is not right
What bracket are you referring to. There should be no bracket.
did you go with the 355mm rotors? and do you still have the stock 17" rims? is there clearance with the 355mm setup?
Was there a special bracket needed to install like the 350z/G35’s or does it bolt right on for the Y50’s ?
Bolts right on y50s
Reginald Jones bro thank you for the reply but I have an off topic question. Did you notice if the motor mounts on the y50’s m45 are same on the g35/350z/fx35?
Reginald Jones also can you use the existing rotors or do you have to use the same rotors the akebono’s originally mate to?
@@shootunderpar4736 I have no idea about the motor mounts. And I had to upgrade the rotors as well
Reginald Jones 355mm rotors ?
Can u keep Dot 3 instead of flushing to 4
Sure
Reginald Jones thanks, how they holding up? Any issues?
How are the calipers holding up after a couple years? I’m not sure I trust the refurbished calipers. ESP from rock auto lol
Did the Power Stop calipers from RA come branded as Akibono like in your ideo.
Yes because that's what they are.
Did you run into any issues after removing the mufflers? I’m deciding if I should remove mine.
No
burns gas faster
@@jamalross8126 how much of a difference ?
do you know if it’s necessary to change the brake lines or you can use the regular brake line that the stock calipers use.
Just have to change the banjo bolts
I’m trying to do this on my G35 coupe
Hey I had a question how do I know if it’s a big break when it doesn’t show it as a picture it shows it as a OEM style caliper ? Also where did you get the big break rotor ?
Look for sport model calipers
Nice! Is that stock height or did you lower your car?
The front is lowered on tein s tech springs
@@reggie_m45 this is smart, the rear archs run low compared to the front so dropping the front makes it "visually " even. I like that it doesn't look slammed but more adultish lol. Have you experienced and heavy oversteer or overexcited rear body roll with just the front lowered during hard cornering? Thinking of going the same route as you.
@@thegentlemansmith5411 no I have not. But since this is a sport, the rear was already kind of low.
Bro!!! Thank you sooo much for this video! You ROCK!
