So far I put a hard start. a damper assembly, and a new freezer condenser fan on mine. The damper is not opening and closing. anybody know if there is a fuse to the damper fan assembly?

He made one mistake in the entire process. He said he charged the system after he changed the clutch and the system worked. If he had charged the system before he changed the clutch he would have saved $99. He didn’t do his homework before starting the job and he would have known about the pressure switch the stops the system from working if the pressure is too low. Hope he knows now that he wasted the money. When he started he said he didn’t know anything about it, and that was his first mistake.

Yo I don’t know if you still have this channel but my 2010 has 180k on it and is experiencing the same issues aswell as the wrench light. We’re u also experience trans delayed shifting issues and not being able to accelerate from a stop but when u let it sit it goes back to normal?

Me wondering the same thing? Did the spark plugs solve the shaking problem

for my 2007 3.0 it was failing but never threw a code or wrench light,the dealer had to catch the issue with a scan tool they use for live data,they replaced it and its doing it again just a couple weeks down the road.same issue and all,they want to put another on i passed will check after market ones.

way to go!! just one thing to consider, you have to account your time. at some point in life you might make more money vs time at work than taking the weekend to fix your car. at that point its worth considering paying a professionnal that will do it faster and better than you for less than your revenue.

AC work is very expensive. If you have basic dyi skills, learn to fix it yourself and save a ton of money. I spend under $200 replacing my bad compressor.

On the razor scooter the connectors just slide on and crimp. Pretty dumb you gotta strip and solder here.

Great video. But .... "It may not just be a bad clutch. You might have to replace a bad compressor." This is why your mechanic didn't want to just replace the clutch. If they only replace your clutch and it doesn't solve the problem, they'd now have to charge you $900 for a new compressor plus around $300 (parts & labor) for the clutch replacement that didn't work. To which you'd likely not be willing to do. Mechanics have to deal with situations like this all the time. That's the reason they would only tackle the $900 job.

What about if the fan is not running at all and the thermostat kicks on and gets really hot ? Any advice I was thinking about changing the part out I have the same model as you
