Fort Collins is way better than Boulder. Moved to Boulder and we hate it. Homeless people everywhere and this town has no leadership. Fort Collins is better, were moving there this fall.

My Aunt and Uncle used to live at 527 Remington St, Fort Collins, CO 80524 in the 1980s between Myrtle and Mulberry before moving up to 527 Turkey Roost Dr, Livermore, CO 80536 in the Glacier Meadows area. I still have 2 cousins who live in the Ft Collins area and love it every time I am up there.

Was hoping to see Wellington in here but not surprised its not due to size and development. Are most of the neighborhoods there similar to Sage Meadows? Any planned developments you are aware of in the coming couple years that are of interest?

What’s a good area for a road cyclist to live? Any recommendations?

Would you guys PLEASE break your videos into sections. Like this video could have split into each area you want to talk about so the viewer who is interested but doesn't have the time to sit through a full video they can skip to the spot they want to view. Just makes it more organized and shows you value your viewers time. I already brought this up and you guys said you'd make the change but a few videos since you haven't addressed this.

Thinking about relocating to Fort Collins, my question is North, South, East or West? Thinking about a condo where outdoor maintenance is kept for us, a nice swiming pool and green areas. Early 60’s and retired so everyday commuting isn’t a priority to us.

Ft Collins is beautiful. The city leaders are to be applauded for embracing progress & beauty. If you want to see the exact opposite, drive a bit up I-25 to where I live in Cheyenne, WY. This is a place that prides itself on being backwards & ugly. National stores are allowed to come in here & build their cheapest ugliest exterior vs codes mandating something aesthetically pleasing. There was a large fire nearly 20 years ago that gutted two downtown buildings. Since then, it’s been a hole with a fence. I can’t see Ft Collins allowing this. I could go on & on but you get the point. BTW, I’m not originally from here. 😊

Planing to move from Oregon to Colorado, Port Collins sound like the perfect place to live . My question is East, West, north or south part of town? Not worried about commuting times, we like tress tress and trees and love night life, beer, fun stuff. Looking for a middle class neighborhood.

Some people care about their yards but it big time depends on what neighborhood you live in. I've lived in some where 50% of the yards are nothing but weeds. Pouring fresh water (a limited resource in case you forgot) on grass because it looks and feels nice should be illegal. Moved here from Texas 10 years ago, moved to Washington state last year, moving back to Fort Collins this summer.

Have lived on the Front Range since 1989. I have never heard an explanation of how we will ever be able to provide water if we continue the growth paradigm. I fear we will become the Phoenix metro. We need fewer peeps, not more.

Capitalism is a study in EXTREME economic boundaries dictated only by corporate profits, not planning. New building accelerates with population inflow and job availability, eventually decelerating as the market saturates, but continues growing until the economy becomes stagnant and only then does it eventually starts decreasing. This OVERSHOOTING ends the boom period resulting in job layoffs and vacancies, eventually resulting in abandoned areas, dilapidated buildings, infrastructure deferred maintenance and extreme homelessness and child starvation. This UNDERSHOOTING ends the cycle too late but in most cases does eventually begin to improve it with renewed infrastructure maintenance creating new jobs, which will then once again start another boom cycle several years down the road. The local for profit governments controlled by for profit corporations do not have an economic thermometer to tell them when it is time for them to apply economic brakes to avoid an OVERSHOOT or to accelerate the economy to prevent an UNDERSHOOT. So the moral of the story is that YO-YO unregulated economic systems, i.e. Capitalism with YO-YO term alternating in power political party Democracies, yield BOOM/BUST economies that can leave behind abandoned ghost towns and cities. Albert Einstein: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

I’ve been in FOCO for 3 years now. I used to live in much smaller towns. To me this is a true city, but it’s the best laid out one I’ve ever lived in.
