Jardin du Luxembourg: our quick visit to the Luxembourg Gardens for sentimental reasons
I thought it was broken when it did the end sequence for a few min after using it for a session. Helpful to hear that yours works the same way and that it’s just a deflate feature. Thanks.
10/10 very useful for my leg soreness
The deflate feature is pretty cool for sure. Glad they help you. For the money, it’s a great deal especially now.
for your track bike, which straps do you use for your assiomas?
I actually use a pair of custom straps. They’re very thin and aero for straps.
@@wkwong80 awesome. did you DIY them?
A friend made them. It’s more complicated than I thought and he had to select a very specific nylon.
@@wkwong80 if he's selling them, let me know
I love my powerblocks but can't seem to use past stage 2 without it feeling unstable or making too much noise.
Do you feel they shift too much with that many loaded up?
I just found one on the sidewalk 😅😅😅
Score! I hope you like the sound for what you paid for it 😉
Hi from the UK. This is very useful as I was wondering about the difference in dimensions prior to purchasing. I do like the slimmer profiles of the Alox models.
Thank you for watching & for the comment. The Alox is very sleek compared to the Classic version. If you don’t need the scales tools, it’s the one I would carry.
Update us please, no more geozones?
Thanks for watching. The latest Air & Mini Flysafe update 1.00.01.36 removes the Geofencing. Unfortunately I sent my Mini back. I didn’t want to wait for the spare batteries to be slowly released & 1 battery wasn’t cutting it.
Hello Will, want to give you an update on my project. I finally installed my retractable screen door and thanks to you it went extremely well. I really appreciate your help/video with this. I had to cut off an inch and a half but other than that it went well. Please take care and much love to you from Southern California. ❤️🥰❤️
That’s great Paul! I was sure I’d have to cut mine but got super lucky that it fit the minimum width out of the box. Thanks for letting me know & I’m glad it helped.
We love a good pump but i do not understand the hype with this song

Question: If I s3et this device on an adaptor for a CAP squat stand, would the squat stand be enough to resist the Pump Max at 70kg? I am unable to bolt any of my equipment into the ground.
Good question. Is it’s just a squat stand (2 separate supports) then I don’t think so. An entire power rack with 180kg of plates might be enough depending on the flooring (slippery tile or polished concrete, No).
They have a Power Rack (their name) that tensions against the floor and ceiling joists. You have to make sure it’s super tight against the 2 though.
@@wkwong80 thanks you for this information, I'll have to see if I can make this work!
Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions. For the money, especially for the kickstarter price, it’s very hard to beat. Plus if you get their Power Rack, very portable when it comes time to move.
On sale at local Costco for $99 right now. Online price still has them listed for $199 though.
Good deal! Costco is always good for a bargain! That’s crazy! 👍
Nice setup bro, but aluminium doesnt love vibrations. It will snap. Be carefull
Thanks but handlebars are made of aluminum. And handlebar stems. And bicycle frames. And airplanes.
10 minutes? I got 3 junk!
Who said ten minutes? Also double check your battery capacity, health and whether it’s a HP version. Some tools run better with HP batteries due to higher current (not voltage) draw.
Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome! Glad it helped!
I have a Stromm frame and I have the exact same issue! I've asked for replacement screws. They don't seem to have it in-stock and I've been waiting for it for almost a month now. Mine were bent even without putting it on a trainer ever.
I hope you get the screws soon. Also read Charles’ comment about not tightening them too much.
@ Thank you for the video! Yes, I read his comment. I’ll keep that in mind.
Koesel told me not to tighten the chain tensioner too tight. Something about that causes the adjuster screw to back out of the C. I always adjust the dropout adjusters to center the wheel with the axle nuts loose. I haven’t noticed a problem and I’ve had my frame since January.
I can see that creating excess pressure against the axle stop. I just use enough tension to set the wheel center & then tighten the axle nuts. I have noticed to not fully extend the tensioner & risk backing out the bolt from the thumbscrew. I slightly cross threaded one side doing that.
Hello. I have Stromm frame since Roubaix and.....same little problem.
Good to know. I think it’s a good design with axle stop but it takes a little extra attention to get it correct.
Too bad they couldn't provide you a rower to try and see how it feels for rows. Have you tried it as a ski erg? How are the resistance profiles?
I think it would be fine for a short session of rowing. I have a Concept 2 erg & nothing is better for longer rows & realistic rowing experience. The flywheel is what makes that and the Skierg great (I have a Skierg as well). Electronic resistance is great but can’t replicate the feel of a C2 flywheel & clutch though you can set it to be concentric only.
@@wkwong80Thanks that helps to know it might not be a good long term experience for replicating ski erg or rower and to just consider a dedicated one.
It definitely won’t be a long term substitute. I don’t think that’s a knock on the Pump Max but a compliment for C2. There’s a reason why their stuff is the Gold (but affordable) Standard.
Fantastic build and informative videos. Could you talk about why you chose a Large frame with a long stem over something small? I apologize, as I'm new to the world of Track Cycling, this sizing seems out of the norm to me and haven't really found anyone else talking about it.
Thank you! I’ll have to do a video about track cycling sprint bike fit but the quick summary is the super long fit (compared to a road fit) is to get as aero as possible & also due to the fact that a road fit is a compromise between being in the drops & hoods which you don’t have. Also I only have to hold my rather extreme position for a short amount of time compared to longer endurance events.
Thank you for the explanation. A video a Track Bike Fit would be great. Maybe if possible include some fit considerations for different track events, say Endurance Events vs Sprint Events?
That’s a good idea! I’ll have to make one of those. Stay tuned.
Thank you
You're welcome! Glad it helped!
Are the squeaks coming from your attachments or the machine?
It’s my cable bar. I added some silicone spray to it afterwards. The Max is quiet aside from a whirring sound.
Loved this video, thanks for providing! Was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful & thank you for watching! It’s a great set of equipment & blows my mind what’s available for its price.
Hey coach, is the k pulley go portable enough to fly with?
Thank you! The K Pulley Go is totally portable enough to fly with. The flywheels are removable & are thin (just have some weight to them). You can strap the Go to anything when you get to your destination like a tree, post, etc…. You’re get a lot better workout than you would with any hotel gym, for sure.
THANK YOU!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Im waiting on mine. About everywhere I go I have to get LANC to fly 50ft AG, ummmm, if a plane hits my drone at 50ft AG then we got more problems than my drone.
😂
😂 I did add chicken to the 2nd batch. Still not the same as bacon though.
Where’s the bacon?!! I don’t see bacon in those waffles. That’s the best! 😂
Hmm, 70x12 is bigger than the 62x11 which I felt was too big for F200m efforts…..
If I used this for a Flying 200, it would be more like a Ploddingly Slow 200 😂 That’s said, I recall a certain Frenchman making a comment to me about why I would use a 70x14 when a 55x11 would work as well I think this video explains why: 70x14 was my warm up gear 😂😂

Glad I clicked on this video after popping up in my recommended. This video has some great lessons which I feel would be useful to me in the near future and onwards, but it also helped reassure me in a way about the age factor when entering a high performance sport. Although what I want to enter into is a lot different because I would really like to compete in fighting games but was worried about my age since a lot of people who find success in this space started really really young. Starting out in my mid twenties now, which would be considered incredibly late, but I really wanted to make sure I try, although my chance at competing would only come some time later since my region doesn't really have much of a scene. Also considering job life, I really don't know if I can make it possible. But this video made me feel like I can still do it, I can still try, and move with the lesson you taught. Thank you!
Thank you very much for the thoughtful comment. I like to tell people starting out in accomplishing any goal is to set modest goals initially. That builds confidence to go on to setting higher & loftier goals. The good news in your case is physiologically, at mid-twenties, you’re not at a huge disadvantage compared to younger athletes. You’ll just lack the experience. But the positive side of that is you won’t have the overuse issues that people who have been doing your sport for a long time. Bottom line is Try to look at the positive aspects of what you bring to the table instead of focusing on what you perceive as your weaknesses.
@@wkwong80 Sorry what did you mean when you said overuse issues? Also it helps to hear about setting modest goals before setting bigger ones because I realize I suffer a lot from perfectionism and it's been quite invasive in every aspect of my life, but I've made some progress and understood a little more about myself in the past few months. It was brutal and still is sometimes, but I have a way better handle on myself compared to months back. Feels weird because I feel like I'm actually learning for the very first time. I think that's also why your video helped, because all the expectations are set by my own wounds and perfectionism which made it so hard to make any actual progress. Honesty, but especially kindness, like you pointed out, are things I really need to work on too. Yea, in a way I'm not at a complete disadvantage because I can still reap the benefits available at my age. I should also train my attention to look at the positive aspects like you said. I think I will benefit from that very much. Thanks for the response! And sorry for the long reply 😅
@@paran01d11those all are great things to work on & acknowledge. 🙏🏼 As far as overdue injuries from elite level sports at a young age; they could be tissue or joint damage like knees, back or even head. They might not necessarily been from overuse but from neglect or repeated injury.
@@wkwong80 Oh what the heck, youtube never sent a notification. Good thing I checked. Gotcha. Luckly within esports as a whole, there is a negiligble amount of risk when it comes to body damage and the worst kind of damage would be wrist pain, which would be difficult to deal with, but that's the only effect and a very far off chance of that happening in the first place, so pretty much nothing to worry about there. A lot of it is just mental warfare between you and your opponent, and I definitely need incredible training for my own mental 100% Otherwise I do like running and would love to participate in marathons in the future, which would be the only physical sport I would want to get myself into. In that case I do have a hard time with my flat feet, but I should be able to mitigate that if I'm careful enough and take care. Thanks for the clarification!
@@wkwong80 Idk why but youtube first didn't even send a notification of your reply and now it deleted my reply. Hopefully this one gets through. Luckily within esports there's negligible risk of injury and the worst that can happen is a wrist injury, so not much to be concerned about there. It's mostly just a mental warfare between you and your opponent. If were talking physical sports, my main thing is running and in the future I would love to run in marathons and even ultra-marathons. Unfortunately I have flat feet, but I have time to take care of it well enough. Thanks for the clarification!
It is possitble to set their own starting point with cable slack? For example, certain exercises you may want the cable to be 1 foot of slack from the pulley before the resistance starts. I can see this being the case with lat pull-downs.
Yes actually you can preset the starting length then activate the load. Though the great thing about using the Pump Rack is that you can set the height (or depth) of the Pump Max. But in cases where you don’t use the Rack, the preset length feature is nice.
You booked the same hotel in Roubaix as I did. It`s interesting that we didn`t meet.
I was in Paris as soon as my 509 was done & back briefly on Thursday. Since my TS got canceled, I packed my things on Thursday & went back to Paris. I loved the breakfast there. Good coffee, breads & company.
@@wkwong80 Maybe next year again. The 2026 and 2027 championships are in my home velodrome in London, just around the corner.
It’ll be great to ride the London velodrome.
What's the qualification process for world masters champs?
Anyone can enter. Only pride is the limiter 😉 Seriously though, anyone can enter which is the great thing about it. It’s just most people wouldn’t attempt it due to the caliber of riders there.
I have a set of bands, handles, and a multipoint door anchor ... but I'm shopping for a bar. My budget requires me to shop in the $50-60 range, max. If you review more, inexpensive bars, I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks for this!
Thanks for watching & you’re welcome! I did recently find a new bar for a cable machine that I like a lot. I’ll review that next.
How smooth is the pull retraction does it feel like a cable machine?
I think it’s fairly smooth but I wouldn’t say it’s a silky smooth as a cable just because of the friction of the band unspooling. It doesn’t jerk or studded.
I feel like they should have just simplified the remote. It's trying to do too much and overcomplicated something that should be simple for the workout.
Once they have the app integration I suspect the remote issues won’t be a problem. That said, with a simple 4 button interface, you can get a lot done. Most of my problems were user error 😅🤦🏻♂️
Is it possible to set dropsets so that the load automatically decreases after a predefined number of repetitions ?
Great question. That feature isn’t available but in theory could be implemented fairly easily. I’d imagine not too many years down the road, that level of customization will be available in smart gym units. Unfortunately that’s not right now.
Great and interesting content, started following you about a month ago and congratulations on the bronze medal at the Masters Worlds. Out of curiosity you mentioned using a trainer for your warmup, looks like a wheel on resistance controllable type from the photo. What one did you use and what type of protocol did you follow for your warmup? Keep it up and thanks.
Thank you & thanks for following me! I definitely don’t use rollers for warm ups & as you noticed, I use an old school Minoura adjustable mag resistance trainer. Weighs just under 15lbs & floss fairly flat. If I was an enduro, rollers would be fine. Since I no longer do the kilo (age has its privileges 😉) my warm up is even less than when I was a kilo rider. The 500 doesn’t generate that much lactate while you’re doing it unlike the kilo so a I do a few minutes of light pedaling with progressive increase in load and then at least 1 all out sprint. The warmer it is at the track, the less actually warm up I’ll need. My kilo warm up was a lot more prepping the muscles for the lactate load coming.
I also don’t worry about the tire burning out on the roller. I’m not on the trainer that long especially for a 500.
Thanks, figured it was some kind of mag trainer and using the load adjustment to help get the muscles firing. I’m just coming back to the track myself after 30 years and thankfully no more kilos for me either just 500’s in my future.
Welcome back! I loved the kilo but was glad when I aged up to the 500.
Thank you!!
Thanks for watching!
What’s the maximum height for the power rack?
The range is 7.9-9.9 feet. The top piece telescopes quite a bit for that range. Thanks for watching.
I'd like to try that, but it sounds like an air raid siren. I have the Makita DAS180 that looks like a drill, and I'm very happy with it. Probably less air volume, but very high pressure and nozzle speed.
I have a smaller Ryobi inflator/dust blower that’s probably similar to the DAS180. This Psblb01b is in a totally different class as far as volume of air moved, with sound not being a concern. There’s nothing else out there as far as I know like this blower. It’s fairly small but moves a ton of air.
@@wkwong80 It's not available in Europe yet, but I might have a look at it, maybe run it with a Makita adapter. For higher air volume, I have the DUB184, which would probably outperform the Ryobi blower when it comes to air volume. But for its size, I'm quite impressed with the Ryobi's performance seen in the video.
You definitely have options with adapters. I’m still definitely impressed with this blower. It’s earned a place in my work van.
I like the Neo Footage more
Thanks for watching & commenting.
These things are torture devices, and you're peddling them. Wow.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
I wish these companies would make a mode where it's the most resistance at the beginning of the rep and least and the end. Some offer the exact opposite, a chains mode. But hardest at begginning of rep , easiest at the end, would be money. But sadly no one does it. Sorry for my rant.
Not a rant at all. I’d imagine one of these days some company will offer the ability to program them to have a cam type progression. Thanks for watching!
did they ship out already?
Not yet. They’re starting the Kickstarter campaign this week. The prices are quite low in that deal.
@@wkwong80 Do you know what the pricing is? I can't find it anywhere!

thanks for the review. I've been specifically looking for a review that would tell me if that fits my *best purchase ever* - Macbook 12-inch i7 16 gb ram 2017 :-) thanks for the tip. Will prob get the 10L bag then, unless you have any other suggestions that would work nicely for Macbook 12
Thank you very much for the kind comment. I offended plenty of people who’ve purchased the 6L version of the Navigator Lite so it’s nice to hear someone who got some value from my honest opinion. Btw, the 12” MacBook does fit in the 10L Eddie Bauer sling. I have the latest version of the bag (V3) & it’s even better than ever. You might want to put your beloved & pimped out MacBook in a padded sleeve or something while in the EB sling but even with that, it’ll fit more than likely no problem.
