      @@lindac6147 All good questions! Studies often use doses equivalent to 250-500 mg of nitrate daily, which can typically be found in 4-7 grams of beetroot powder. Which is 1-2tsp a day

    I made these but my brownie mix was Bob’s Red Mill (gluten free). Which called for 3 eggs 1/2c melted butter 1/4c water. This was quite a bit different than the recipe from the box. First off blending the beans with 1/4c water was not enough. I had to add quite a bit more water to get proper consistency. I am curious to know how does a person know how much beans and water would be equivalent to the eggs and oil/butter? Mine did not turn out well and I could taste the beans :(

      I’m sorry to hear the brownies didn’t turn out as expected. You can experiment with different ratios of beans and water until you find a combination that works well for you! I haven’t tried all of the different packages to give you a good estimate

    I couldn't find low sodium cottage cheese 12% per 1/2 cup

      That’s ok Helena. Cottage cheese naturally has this amount of sodium in it and will be unlikely to find something lower than this.

      Thanks for the positive feedback! Eggs are okay in moderation. The American heart association doesn’t have a specific limit on dietary cholesterol consumption, and eggs are low in saturated fat and are great source of protein. Hope that helps!
