It is possible to load apps onto the RC Pro and then to open the app on the Apple Vision Pro. Far simpler than any method here. So far I have only used ApowerMirror which does work smoothly. I am looking for alternatives apps that work on both the RC Pro and the AVP. Any ideas?

Nope. M4 Pro is not built for AI (LLMs). Its a joke actually. I run 70B (Q4) on 6 years old GPUS, 2xP6000. Maybe M5 Ultra in 2027. Today? Nope. Two generations behind Nvidia, if not three generations. I like the form factor on the Mac Studio, but gave up when I saw the time to first token on the maxed out M2 ultra version.

How usable is that really as a work setup? I really like the idea and the first time I tried this was with the Oculus Quest 1 and the Immersed app I guess. But it had 2 big problems, a) It was hot, sweaty and painful after some hours in there and b) the resolution was bad. It had no real benefit over a screen, because I had to scale the screen so big to be readable, that it just hadn't lots of space. I guess if both of these problems were fixed, the idea would be really cool. Especially for travel or staying at places where no screen is available. Working just with my MacBook screen is somewhat of a productivity killer for me. I really need my big screen(s). And another small concern I have is the latency / connection problems. I guess you can't use a cable to connect to the Mac like with continuity camera (which actually uses the usb connection if connected) and I don't really trust Apple with wireless connections. I often have problems with AirPlay lagging, AirPods stuttering etc. so how reliable is the connection to the headset and does it have any delay? It probably uses the connection to the wifi router you're currently using, so what happens if I use a crappy hotel wifi?

Is it really true that as a PART 107 operator then you have to register a drone under 255 grams, or is it only if you intend to use the drone in a commercial capacity?

I have to admit.... Im kind of "done" with the 107 stuff and looking at the FAA registration list, so are most people. Its a joke when it comes to these tiny drones. I could do more damage throwing a football and a camera with a telephoto lens is a much better "peeping tom" tool. Just makes no sense to strap a transponder on this, ruin some of its aerodynamics and take away range. I mean technically its illegal for me to fly this in house, using FPV, and fly into another room I cant see in. Absolutely crazy laws.... For you "rent a cops wantabees" who get a woody busting people (number one your a bunch of weirdos and stay away from my kids)... you want these laws then you need to make sure the laws and requirements keep up with the technology.

If you _had_ updated the software it probably would have allowed you to control it in landscape mode, BTW (it was added in a recent update).

DJI minutes are special. 18 DJI minutes = 12 normal minutes (a similar ratio is applicable to all their drones / batteries, in fact).

I am fond of the idea but I am not too fond of the headsets. May be in 5-6 years when it is the size and weight of a normal sunglasses, then sure, I will definitely use a virtual monitor. But not before the tech is optimised.
