Did the jb weld fix your exhaust?

Did the JB Weld High heat repair hold up? Curious to know. I am about to do this same repair and cursious if it lasted.

Only way to stop corrosion is with your zinks the zinks have to be working on the Out drive the exterior zincs and in the motor the powerhead is loaded with zinks that have to be changed

I just fixed mine exhaust corrosiion by welding with aluminum spool gun and resurfaced..

I have a tt motor with a na trans.I do not want to Grind down the bellhousing to make a tt clutch and fly wheel fit….is there any Na clutch kit that will work (not expecting to make over 500hp) or could I use a 250mm tt disk on a na flywheel?

I have a 06 F250. I’m not having any issues my when I had it in for service they did the water pump and scoped the exhaust. I was woundering if you could get an idea of how bad it is just with a picture. I’m scared now next month to go offshore fishing.

i have a 87 johnson 88spl and it has no top end and also has a lil sputter when idling down from full throttle what are some suggestions i should do.

Would this exhaust issue cause oil loss? My engine is losing oil. 2005 f250. No oil inside cowling or in the water while running. Doesn’t appear to be burning it as well. All cylinders are good. Any help would be great!

seems sluggish, are you over propped??? looks like your WOT wasn't revving to it's hi range, which Is around 5500-5800rpm. you do have a big, heavy boat but it should do better with a lower pitch prop. I'm no expert but I've been around boats for 45+ years. Don't make me an expert it's just what I see here. A 225 should get you into the mid to hi 30's. IMO, if I'm wrong tell me so, always willing to learn.

I have the same engine, ran it with no muffs or bucket and to find out that the kill switch was not operational, got to kill the engine by cutting the fuel supply,...it got I would say a bit hot,... I did a compression test to find out one cylinder was low in compression,... is the engine damaged? And what to do next,.... please help

never let this engine go; it will outlast any and all engines new or old and always get rid of the VRO do pre mix

Nice whaler. I own a 1966 13 whaler , owned her for almost 20 years now. Looking to add a montauk to my collection soon. I live in central Florida and we didn’t have the boat ramp closures at all , but down in Miami they closed all the ramps. Seen Alfred montanier show a vid about the ramps opening day it had over 300 boats in line to use the ramps lol. Thank god my area wasn’t like Miami

Well, nice video of your face talking. You did not video the boat and motor at all but, I kinda see how well that boat and motor combination works. I have 70's Sears 12' aluminum semi-V hull boat, that I got cheap. I cleaned it up and painted it. I'm thinking an 8 - 9.9 HP motor is what I'm looking for, to make it a fishing boat. I would like to find a good Honda 8hp, they have a battery charging system, which is a nice feature for a trolling motor battery.
