How to clean the little wheels on a Dyson DC44/45 cordless animal vacuum | AskDyson didn't teach.
Просмотров 56 тыс.4 года назад
Learn how to clean the Dyson DC44, DC45 cordless animal vacuum head including the four small wheels and axles. Other channels like AskDyson didn't teach this. Here is the fantastic Dyson Digital Slim Mk2 DC44 Animal. (DC45 in Canada and Continental Europe) Here I show how to clean the wheels and bruch head. This took me 10 minutes total. The DC44 is a cordless vacuum cleaner. It is powered by a...
Klecker holsters fit this well
Thanks dude
one of dyson's biggest design flaws is those little wheels. mine get clogged up with hair right away and stop turning.
Thanks so much for filming this!! Needed to confirm before trying it on my brush
Thanks for the tip!! Mine is full of hair lol it was bothering me so bad
How do you get the other back wheel out? Thank you.
Justgotonenothappyhardtotakedown
This also works for Akitas V8 vacuum cleaner. Thank You.
Where’s the range review?
You are a miracle worker I've been trying for months on end to figure out how to get those front wheels off to clean the hair all caught up in them. Thank you thank you thank you.
I did that once with the laser head but its very delicate, so next time to clean the small rollers I used a stanley cutter, and cut the sticked hair meanwhile turning the rollers with my finger. It worked and dont risk to damage the plastic. At the end for me is an opportunity area for @dyson designers
Anyone have problems after taking apart & putting back where it would slide back & cock and then it wouldn't slide all the way back and wouldn't cock! Took it apart and back together 3X it would work then not work. Seemed like maybe it was that back spring. Something not right. It was a bear to get that piston in! Hard to see & wiggled all over. But it all went together but work & then not work. Seemed harder to slide too even after oiling the slide.🙁. Any ideas?
Great video. Best I’ve seen on cleaning and breaking down the CCP M2.
Massive design flaw by Dyson can't believe they don't have a formal means of cleaning these wheels. Popping them out by this method is surely going to distort & break the wheel housings after not too long
Thanks🎉
So far I fell in love with the crossbreed holsters got the belly band and the side bed holster I believe it’s called it’s just a panel with Velcro the actual holster for the gun can be moved from the belly band to the side bed panel idk if I’m explaining it right lol look up crossbreed holsters
Love my CCP! Easy to shoot and very accurate. Cleaning is a breeze. No problem with any parts breaking yet. I got an Olight Balder mini that fits well. Haven't had to adjust the sights yet on CCP. I got a Kydex holster from Buck at the gun show to accommodate the Balder.
But you ruin the plastic you lean on when doing this way
Just picked up a Walther CCP. Put the first 100 rounds on range day! Thank you for this video. Made cleaning a breeze. Appreciate it.
That's awesome! I love my Walther CCP M2. Congrats and have fun.
@@williambronson6541 The wife really loves the ease of the slide on this Walther CCP M2. I have seen posted hate for this weapon on other sites, but so far I give it a ten. Thanks again.
Thank you!! I have a Shark and the tiny wheels fill with hair but I didn’t know how to get them cleaned!
Too long of a video rap that shit up man please
How about you don't waste my time showing me how to clean everything else. The title is for to clean the little wheels.
You saved my life and I can confirm same thing works with different models. I was having the issue with the laser one, but principle is the same, despite there’s no plastic tab, just the metal cylinder. Shame on Dyson, these should be their instructions.
For the v11 Animal, there are just the 2 small wheels in the front. They have a recessed pin, but it is metal (thankfully). Also, no alignment tab. Removal is just as you showed here, pry under exposed side with small screwdriver (had to pry a little harder than I was comfortable, but nothing broke) and pull out with needle nosed pliers. Just did it and now my vacuum head is clean again! Thanks! Crazy how hard it still is to find these instructions.
Bless you!!! Everyone else skips over this part. And it’s one of the most important places to clean. Thanks again great job.
thank you so much. youre my life saviour!
Thanks for posting this.
Great Video. God Bless you and thank you for such a detailed tutorial!
Why didn’t you oil it?
lol I know right! In retrospect I should have been much more conservative with the lube. :)
This is one of the most PAIN IN THE ASS videos I've seen in awhile. Glad I skipped through it.
Omg thanks!!
Follow up video?
I have those sights for my Shield. They suck. Makes yiu shoot a good 4” low at less than 20 yards. The front sight post is way too long. I’ll never buy those sights again.
You should notify the company. They are here in my home town and very accommodating. Let them know what's wrong with them and perhaps they will send you a fix. I love mine and I'm very accurate with them. I did use the lowest profile front and sighted it in with a laser round. I have not had any trouble from them except the rear site getting loose. So I used locktite and that fixed it. Sorry you're having trouble.
they are not metal, probably because they break, eventually.
It's really strange. My Roomba wheels are made to pop out for cleaning. The Dyson wheels should be like that. Maybe Dyson engineers could take a look at iRobot products.
I have a new dyson and popping out doesn't describe it. I used a razor knife a shaved the slots just a little bigger and now the shafts come out but. I think it is a failed technology. I have cats and the wheels get packed after one cleaning. I am looking for an alternative, like skid pads.
Make sure to complain to the company. They need to know everyone who is not happy with this.
I have the XS Dot The I sight on my Shield. I give them an👎. Drastically makes the zero way way way too low. From sight is too tall. Stay away from XS.
You’re actually prying it up wrong. Pry it up from the END towards the wheel and it pops up quickly. You also have less chance of breaking it.
Thank you!! My shark vertex has the tiny wheels and you probably saved me an hour by telling them how they pop out. Took 30 seconds.
Thanks William ! But too scared to break the wheels so won’t do this. Too fragile
Actually not too fragile. It seems to be very bendable plastic. Just go slow and easy.
That pin is to push out the pin holding the piston, to make front sight changing easier.
If you can post a video for how to clean the wheel on Dyson V8, that would be really appreciated!
Well I only got one extra front sight. I have to use it to replace the one that walther broke by dropping my gun. It was in their hands for OVER a year due to a recall and when I got the replacement, The front sight and to some extent the rear sight was busted. Obviously dropped. I'm done with Walther.
Same here, one additional front sight and nothing else.
Correction, the wire brush for the piston port
That's too bad. I've always had good experiences with their customer service. What was the recall for? The PPS or CCP?
Thanks alot
What about the larger wheels (2) on the same head. How do you remove them to clean and loosen them?
Thanks dude, helped me out a ton, you guys can skip to 3:30 mins if you're looking for the tiny wheels bit
Sorry I get a little wordy. Yes by all means skip ahead if it helps.
@@williambronson6541 no offence intended, really appreciate the video
wow
I wish they would make this for the CCP 380. Their site says for 9mm only
I'd just call them. It may fit
Thank you, sir! This helped so much, those wheels are such a nuisance!
Glad it helped! I feel the same way :)
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Thanks for the video. That is not an extra roll pin , it's not even for that model. As per Walther it's a tool for the ccp M1 model NOT the M2. They just send it with the m2 because other than that everything included in that bag is the same as the 1st gen. I wish like hell Walther offered other sights for the gun as there's virtually only one company that offers aftermarket sights for it that actually fit. The sights work but for me and obviously you they are a week point on the firearm. For me it's the only week point. The lock tite is necessary, trust me.
Awesome. Thank you for the information. I still really like the gun but my next purchase will be a Glock 17. Not sure what Gen.
@@williambronson6541Do you still have the CCP?
