You should do a lesson..
Thank you! I like your style of seeing and explaining the fretboard! 🎸
I do love Gretsch guitars but man they look unwieldy
Oh wow super informative, Thank you ❤
I have an original Chinese made Classic Vibe 50's, they are widely considered to be even better than those now made in Indonesia. Fender had a hard time selling higher end Strats because of that! I think it might have been the first time in history that people complained about an item no longer being made in China. :)
Brilliant lesson, can’t wait to learn it all! Keys to the kingdom right here. Thank you.
Rock on! Haha- glad you found the channel
squier CV 50s only pine bodies for colors 2TS and WO. FRD and BLK are nato bodies. i've send my FRD back and got the 2TS. pu's are great - TONERIDER surfari sets.
AhhhhhhHaaaaaaa!!!!
Yes! 🙌🏼😆
Damn! that's a nice Gretsch!
Thank you! Yes I love it! I bought it from a good friend.
Very useful lesson. Thanks for sharing.

Bless this man…. My savior and true believer. A++…
Glad you found the videos 🎸
Great lesson! Very useful info. Thank you!
Very welcome! Glad you found the channel
Such a beautiful sound. I can still remember the chills when I first heard the opening strum and the first notes of Apache
Did you see them back in the day? Very cool
Excellent lesson....getting back to the fundamentals!
Indeed. Thanks Bryan.
Thank you, significantly helpful, in learning the language, without the complete grasp of the theory, and command of the vocabulary of music
Glad you liked it!

Thanks that means a lot
That sounds amazing 😍 Cant wait to give this a whirl Thanks 👍🏻
Have fun!!
Very, very nice. Thanks for this, great lesson, great teaching skills. Now to try and get some of it under my fingers.

Thanks for watching 🎸
My dad loves guitar
You are Darrel Higham aren't you ? I recently found your instructional stuff on You Tube and have subscribed. A lot of the stuff I've been playing for years now makes more sense, and a lot more is now coming in to the light. Keep it coming....
Glad you’re enjoying the videos, Robert! But my name is Darren Clarke 😀
Liked and subscribed. I’ve been playing for over five decades mostly by ear and never learned scales. I’m digging in before I croak and I’m out of guitar intermediate prison in the past six months. Very therapeutic. . I played out all over the globe and never learned how USE THE FRETBOARD DIAGONALLY. THX IM ON FIRE NOW AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS.
Yes! That's awesome
Thank You...❤
Thanks for watching
He talks about SRV using the rounded edge of the pick and then shows a clip of him clearly using pointy tip.
If you watch the rest of the interview carefully he is clearly using the side of the pick it is fairly well known he used to do that and he has said he does it in other interviews and there are a some of his old picks that clearly show the wear is on the side not the pointy end.
i think i have it now ..E 3,6, A3,5 D3,5,8 G 5,7 B is 6,8,11 and E 8,10? and then opposite back.. do i have it right then. only mine doesnt sound like anything yet.. is the one next to that.. E 6,8 A 5,8, D 5,8,10, G 7,10, B 8,10, E 8,11??? (this one i doubt if its good the other i think i got right because the picture i used upside down)
Yes that is it!
Good stuff man! I’m a dedicated fan!!❤
Thank you!
bought a strymon volante butt sounding crabb Can anybody help me with the sound I looked also on RUclips butt still the sound is bad The mutted party are oke butt the melody sounds with a delay it seems Any help ..... Kind regards Mannes
Reach out to @strymon Those pedals are awesome so maybe there’s something going wrong
Also as a starting point I would put it on the tape mode, set the recording level low, the wear knob high (75%) and just use one tape head and set the feedback to about 40% That will give you a nice analogue sound, then from there you can tweak, add more heads, change the settings etc.
A Boss DM-101 effekttel lehet ilyen hangzást előállítani.Előre is köszönöm.
This is great, thanks man.
Glad you found the channel!
Ferry nice and helpfull🎉😊 Can you if you have time how to set up a couple of shadows tune Like woderful land peace pipe And more Kind regards Mannes
I’ll try to do more Shadows stuff soon
BS click bait
Every player of repute has very particular aspects to their playing,,, these all vary with each player. There is no formula Except to play as true & honest to your self,,,, forget about trying to be a Hendrix or Clapton cause you never will but be yourself and hone your own sound- this will set you apart.
Absolutely- but always have a growth mindset and you will go farther! Learn from the greats but find your own voice 👊🏼
what amp are yu using?
I am using a kemper.
Really good explanation of how Chuck plays. My instructor gave me this to learn early on, which I didn't, but I think I'm finally ready to get back to it. LOL. Love the sound coming out of that Gretsch!
Glad it was helpful!
Incredible video. Great insight.
Much appreciated!
Thanks for another great session!!
Thank you George!
Very cool, thanks.
Appreciate you watching, I love playing with those interesting chromatic sounds!
Killer break down
Thanks Peter
That's a good idea to mix the minor pentatonic and the major pentatonic and make a new scale out of it. Thanks.
Thanks Richard, when you combine 2 patterns, it opens things up and there are so many options for creating interesting melodies!
So interesting. I think I'll get the Volante. Thanks a lot for the overview
Enjoy
Love the snap and tempo of this one! Way to go!
Thanks for listening
Great stuff! Keep it coming!❤
Thank you!
