The "raised" DUKW
The Missouri Highway Patrol raised the DUKW out of the water that was involved in the incident on Table Rock Lake. Folks are still leaving flowers at the Ducks on Hwy 76 in memory of those that perished that day.

The stores are open! Video shows the water level at the flood gates of Table Rock Dam from the reservoir side the last 3 days and the effects the increased water release is having on Lake Taneycomo that runs by the Branson Landing on May 1, 2017

Stores are open! It had rained all Friday night and all day Saturday causing a large amount of runoff. In addition, all 10 Table Rock Dam flood gates were open spilling 10,000 cubic per second into Lake Taneycomo caused flooding at the Branson Landing. By morning the Lake level was down. Then, on March 30 the Corps of Engineers increased the flood gates output to 49,000 cfs.

What's the tiny tugboat for?
Years ago, while the generator motors were being replaced the tugboat was used to push the Belle around the lake for the tour.

Yeah I don’t think driving a regular pickup truck in water is a good idea Unless it had propellers and pontoons and a boat Engine
Hope the Ducks came back safely to Branson
So this never happened before? Can't say I've ever seen them open while I was there. Good fishing though

At the time of the tornado that ran through Branson, I was staying at the 76 Inn motel, next door to the duck ride on hwy 76. Wish my camera was charged so I could have got video of the ducks being tossed. But I saw them flipping and landing on top of each other,

No, the tornado came by around 2 am, but it was closed for the season at the time for winter.
