What Makes The "HITMAN" Series Special?
gotta give a honorable mention to super mario 3d land & world
Yeah I should've
funny i started with PS3 Demon's Souls then Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 2 became my absolute favourite like Demon's Souls, though its even more so than Demon's Souls, but the typical bashing of it was expected, also no Scholar was the better version, you'd hate it no matter what
I just didn’t enjoy dark souls 2. It was the only souls game that felt just unfair with the enemies
ahh yes Bed of Chaos
Dark souls 3 was my first Souls game. I think it’s a solid choice to start. It’s combat is fast enough for you to end up liking Bloodborne too and its combat is refined enough for you to appreciate Elden Ring even more, because you know it got this way because of Dark Souls 3. I also genuinely believe DS3 to have the best bosses in the series. Bloodborne and Elden Ring have amazing bosses too, but most of Dark souls 3’s bosses are perfect. They each get a little harder until some become skill checks. It knows how to test players and make sure if they’re ready for the rest of the game if they can get past these roadblocks. Plus, it’s DLC’s Have some of the best boss fights in gaming history: They’re really tough, though. It helped get me into the souls genre and Elden Ring and Bloodborne helped me stay.
Same here
*Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario 3D World left the chat*
Real💀
i have never played souls games. I have enough to buy dark souls remasted or dark souls 2 scholer of the first sin, which one would you recommend?
Tough choice probably dark souls remastered but maybe just start watching some gameplay see which one interests you more
@@KuminsU okay
Yes galaxy is by far the best mario game.mario 64 is good but outdated. sunshine i love the mechanics but is bland and and not as exciting too explore.galaxy 1 and 2 were fun too explore it was very fresh and each galaxy was different.now 3d world i really enjoyed it had that each level was different and unique fell. odyssey was fun but the moons didn't fell rewarding the controls are the best in any mario game the world's are huge with plenty to expore. And bowser's fury i wasn't impressed i hope they dont make mario open world in the next game i have more fun exploring smaller worlds with rewarding stars thats all i want.
Great takes!
I hope we get to see Megaleg on the big screen if Illumination ever decides to take one of the film towards the Galaxy aspect of the series. Imagine seeing a sentient robot of his size terrorizing a dense population instead of being stuck on a planet that’s too small for its size lol.
lol I hope we get to see megaleg as well
With a title like "3D Mario Games are Beautiful.," I was expecting an analysis of what makes 3D Mario games appear visually impressive or possibly a love letter to the 3D Mario series. Instead, you've made an opinion/critique video. Don’t get me wrong, I love that kind of content, but I think it would have helped to use a less ambiguous title, especially because the message it conveys is vastly different from what you cover. If you really did love 3D Mario games, then why do you not only gloss over Super Mario Galaxy 2 but also completely leave out Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario 3D World? If you really did love 3D Mario games, then why do you spend so much time praising certain games in the series and so much time criticizing others? The message you convey is that you don’t think 3D Mario games are beautiful. You think only a few 3D Mario games are beautiful and thus worthy of talking about. I'm just left confused. ... P.S. While it’s not the best, I think New Super Mario Bros. 2 is the most beautiful Mario game in the mainline series, if we’re talking about visuals.
I get what you mean but I just wanted to go through the 3D games and say what makes them special but I didn’t want to gloss over the flaws and I guess I was just too disappointed with super Mario Galaxy 2. Some games I had more positive things to say than others but I wanted to just hammer home the idea that the atmosphere and themes of the games are just more I don’t know engrossing is the word I would use to describe them. 3D world and land are really good games but for some reason they feel more like 2 D games to me and don’t hold the same magic as the others. It’s just because the level have fixed cameras unlike the others but definitely are amazing games. I have beaten 3D world 5+ times with my siblings when I was younger and I love that game just even when I was younger seemed more like a 2D Mario game. I like that you didn’t just attack and gave valid arguments and criticism towards my title instead of bashing. We need more like you! Thank you! (Edit) the 3D games are beautiful but I wasn’t speaking on just the visuals because a lot of the 2D games are more visually impressive. More the way they put you in the world better than the 2D games
I LOVE SM64
Speed running fan?🤣
@@KuminsUlol yeah
@ItsDoge131 new it
I always did think Mario did better in 3D!
You’re not alone brother
Any way as long as you don't limit yourself to one game, which is true of rightabouts any franchise.
True I was just trying to give people ideas of each game and so they could choose
@@KuminsU That tracks. Personally, I'm a fate fan and I'm so sodding tired of people overcomplicating others getting into their favorite franchise because they wanna make sure that person has the best experience, so with both of these I choose to say this. Because I'm kinda done with people humming and hawing, ya feel?
@@chukyuniqul yeah I get it I just went off what I felt like because I tried each game a little before I committed to one

Thank you so much man. Means the world to me I spent a ton of time on this video.
Great Video ! Galaxy is an absoluter BANGER
Thank you! Galaxy is definitely a banger one of my favorite games
Comment anything you want I will most likely respond!
Play which ever one looks the most interesting. I started from Dark Souls on ps3 and it's still my favorite. Have it on pc now. Played Demon's Souls ps3 after and then have been keeping up with all the games. There's no true place to hope on I think. For me, some of the collage degree stuff is what makes the games great. Like, saying you don't recommend the original Demon's Souls is off, because a lot of people started there. So why no a new Souls player?
Gaming is different and the rolling and slower combat is just daunting comparing to the faster ds3, bloodborne, sekiro and Elden ring.
The idea that vanilla ds2 has less enemy spam is a myth that gets players to play a more difficult and unfair game. Sotfs changed a bunch of things in this regard to make enemy encounters more reasonable. Updated aggro ranges so less enemies are aggrod at once. Updated enemy agressiveness behaviour so enemies don't crowd you when you pull multiple enemies. New mechanics that make pulling one enemy at time easier e.g in drangleic castle the shielded knights are now encased in stone and take time to wake up/ have a shorter aggro range whereas before they are all already awake and if you're careful you could pull a minimum of 2 in the room. There's plenty more examples of these kinds of changes in sotfs and really goes to show the mindset of sotfs being a more fair version. I don't know where the idea that vanilla is the less ganky version came from. Anyway just personal taste, I love ds2 and would recommend it as a first experience. Mine was ds1 and I love that game too. I think ds1 is more likely to inspire awe in the player whereas ds2 is just a really weird rpg thats heaps of fun
I respect your opinion everyone is different and there isn’t a bad place to start just what id recommend. I tried to give reasons for people to play each other
The spanish guitar lmao
I love the guitar lol
Very accurate ranking, my friend
Thank you man
i loved bloodborbe the feeling of horror the darkness of the game is amazing. but i also playd elden eing and sekiro. bloodborne in third place in my opinion. bloodborne bosses and and grinding blood viles and bullets was horroble. every thing els was amazing. but the bosses od the base game most of them wasnt good. elden ring have some problmes also but the bosses are way better and much fun to fight. i think bb is amazinf my third best souls game ever. but the people who says its the best theyr really only say that becous if the world desine😂
Yeah I tried to make that clear😂. But also just nothing feels like it at all
I disagree with the video, not to come off disrespectful, I sure hope not, but I would put Sekiro & Elden Ring (ER being my favorite game ever) over Bloodborne. I think Bloodborne has so many inconsistencies in level design, many jank/hitbox problems, simplified combat compared to Elden Ring, base game boss roster is pretty mediocre overall, so many reused enemies in base game & DLC, a game that is saved by its atmosphere & DLC. But they’re all phenomenal games, beaten Bloodborne & Elden Ring over 50 times EACH! Great video overall. ❤🎉
No game feels like blood borne though. The world is my favorite in the series and the bosses all fit because you are a hunter you aren’t just going around finding random people that want to fight. Elden ring has a ton of reused enemies but I think in my opinion it goes 1.Bloodborne 2.Sekiro 3. Elden Ring I hope you understand why from what I said.
@@KuminsU Oh heck yeah don’t get me wrong, loved your video btw.
@@HeyTarnished thank you man been trying really hard
@@KuminsUI respect your opinion but i disagree. The guy is right. Imo it is: 1.Sekiro 2. Elden ring 3. Dark Souls 3 While Bloodborne is still really amazing.
@@issi529 different strokes for different folks
heavy agree on sekiro and bloodborne being the 2 best, i liked elden ring but it has so many flaws that hold it back for me From the three i have played Bloodborne: 9-10/10 Sekiro: 10/10 Elden Ring: 8/10
good takes but I think Elden ring is the best for new players but also the worst. You have to do random stuff sometimes to make stuff happen like getting a lift working to go fight radahn or fight reused bosses before him.
At least we can all agree that all souls games are at least a 7/10, really consistent as you mentioned, although our lists differ haha
Yes they are all great games
What is different about our lists?
Mine would go DeS- 8/10 DS1-7/10 DS2-haven't played yet but i believe 7.5/10 BB-8/10 DS3-8.5/10 Sekiro-9/10 ER-10/10 could elaborate further if you want
@WeirdTroll666 up to you if you want to. Bloodborne to me just has a charm and style unlike any game I’ve ever played
@@KuminsU my BB and DS1 takes are surely controversial, BB base game just doesn't have anything going for it except the trick weapons, vial farming and bosses are really meh, but I have to admit that the Old Hunters DLC is a 10/10
Thank you for watching! Comment what takes you did not agree with!
Nice video bro.... also resident evil 2 remake was my first re game too!
Re 2 remake is a banger
the only thing the remake delivers is confirmation that capcom knows crayon eaters will buy and eat any kind of feces they sell to them as long as they attach the name resident evil. the game is almost the same as the ps2 game with better graphics, a crossbow, and a crap ton of cut content which capcom happily sold to them idiots for good American dollars
I think picking a game that looks cool and learning the combos is all you need. Everything else can be learned through experience.
Personally the way I got into the series, well it's a bit complicated. The first game i played (granted through emulation), was Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, the original. However I only got around 2 or so hours in before quitting... Because i was emulating on mobile and didn't have a controller to connect it to. Fast forward a bit to christmas of 2022 and I got RE2 remake. But, in addition, I decided to playthrough RE2 original AT THE SAME TIME (mostly, I started Leon A scenario of the remake, started Leon A Scenario of the original, finished A scenario for remake, then finished for the original, I'd then do the same for Claire B aswell as Claire A/Leon B). This was in ny opinion the best way to do it. I got experience this series from two different perspectives over the same story, but in different ways also. This also allowed me to notice any major differences almost immediately, and there are quite alot for RE2, in terms of gameplay, characters, level design, music, and story. I'm sure not everyone is, or would even want to do this, but personally, I'd recommend picking up RE2 remake, aswell as finding a way to play through RE2 original, then go back to play RE1 remake (and RE1 original but I dont recommend it AS MUCH as RE2 original). And then do whatever else afterward, play re3, play re4, play re7&8, do whatcha want. RE3 original though still remains my favorite after beating it after 1&2.
I'm going to stop you right there with all of that and fix some of you're claims. Halo 4 introduced Spartan-IV's and showed that not all the Elites sided with Arbiter. Halo 5 introduced us to Swords Of Sanghelios that are part of The UNSC, and Halo Infinite introduced us to Banished AI and also proved that The Banished still accept Humans and introduced us to a new species. Also, we got mostly everything. Only thing we don't have yet is The Felcon, Banished Shotgun and Split Screen.
How can any one praise RE4, when they basically ripped everything fun from the original game, cut a boss and level that was in the original and charge $10 for it? I haven't bought that DLC and I'll never will. Fuck Capcom, that's a scum bag ass move.
The gameplay is fun, a more horror atmosphere and newer movement. Also a lot of the game was revamped but also separate ways wasn’t including with re4 at lunch so I’m fine with it being a cheap dlc. But removing the boss is still lame and the level.
Nice video man. Some solid takes and I could tell that it was genuine and heartfelt information for new players getting into the series. Easy like
Thank you
Well best thing to do is hop in ds1 blindly, but there's a chance that the player won't enjoy ds2. So to 100% enjoy all of them i'd start with ds2 not knowing how much better the other games are and then the rest of the games
the way Alcina Dimitrescu is what got me into the series 😂 I’ll always have a soft spot for her and for Village
For real
My first was Elden Ring (after Sekiro but like you said, it doesn’t prepare you for the others much at all) and I think another reason it isn’t good to start with is that it’s a lot more mechanically complex than the others. It’s essentially the fifth game in a series that they’ve been building on for over a decade, so there’s a lot to wrap your head around at this point. The Demon’s Souls remake was the next one I played and I could immediately tell that I would’ve been better off starting with one of the earlier games. Far fewer weapons with much more limited move sets, simpler magic systems, simpler enemy and especially boss designs, etc. Even though Elden Ring is (tied with Sekiro for) my favourite game ever now, I honestly didn’t like it very much at first because I was so overwhelmed with mechanics and systems that I had to learn
i think most should start with re2, re4 or re4r and re7. if you want more horror and survival, than you do re2 or re7. if you want more action mixed with slight horror elements, you do re4. now there is another layer to this though, since IF you have friends. re5 and re6 genuinely aren't terrible. i think each game kinda caters towards a certain group. i suck at survival horror, so i usually do better with the more action forward games. while others may suck at action, and do better at the survival/puzzle solving of the original games. either way though, i think the most easy and enjoyable games for new comers are definitely re4 and re2. i think re7 might be to scary for some 🤣
I agree.
Good video bro
Thank you
Skip video and play RE4 (2005)
hard to watch with only my left ear
I made a fix it’s on my channel

Yeah 200% agree with you, it was just such a let down and if maybe it was half the price and DLC for Re2 then maybe yeah I’d say it was ok.
Just so short it basically is an overpriced dlc.
Re 4 remake is the most beginner friendly or re 4 og

RE 1 Remake or original.
Huh
Good video man, but I think you should mix up the music a little now and then instead of re-using the same shooting song. Just my opinion
Noted thank you
I just beat re 2 and 3 remake should i play re1 or re0 next?
Well re1 remake is a great game that has some older more janky mechanics and Re0 is the same so maybe Re4 og but if you want one of those 2 specifically I’d recommend Re1
How should ME get into resident evil :p
Either Re1 if you have experience with tank controls and want the definitive survival horror experience. Re2 remake or re7 if you want a modern survival horror game. Re4 remake or re8 if you want a more action oriented game.
fun fact: for the original resident evil 4 they used Mexican Spanish and for the remake they used spain Spanish. in central America we have sang Spanish or latin American Spanish, then we have Mexican Spanish which is kind of rougher around the edges and then we have castilla Spanish or the Spanish from spain. the difference between spain Spanish and the rest is the pronunciation difference between C, S, and Z. in other Spanish from America you can barely find the difference. also, resident evil 4 starts the downfall of the franchise as just like in COD you are a white American going to another country to invade and kill the natives which are the bad guys. in RE4 case you are an American going to a Mexican speaking region of pain, your first interaction with the natives is breaking into a home expecting a commoner farmer to speak fluent English and when this fails to understand and rightfully tries to defend himself is killed by the American agent without any regret or questioning himself if there was another way. this same troupe can be found on resident evil 5 which now isn't about killing Mexicans but about killing africans. Mr redfield goes to invade another country, proceeds to break an enter then shoot the natives and start killing them in what can be considered racially motivated as for the entirety of the game the only 3 white enemies are Wesker, the brainwashed girl and the arms dealer turned into a monster. all the game is missing at that point is slinging the N word. meanwhile resident evil 6 is about a terrorist attack involving the Chinese so a group of Americans go break and enter then proceed to kill the natives which for a great miracle are zombies and not just brainwashed people so it is technically not that racist kudos for going back to zombies rather than staying COD and demonizing minorities
I will say this absolute truth...DEX over sex!! Put all your points in dex then enjoy...whats that? You are getting 1 hit? Thats easy! Just dont get hit bro😂 no, seriously, unequip all armor and use your uchikatana to drop them corpses. No, for real. The souls franchise is all about finding your own style, and your favorite weapons. Finally, if you are having issues with a boss just remember that PATTERN RECOGNITION is a thing LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE HUMAN develops age 10/12 so just stop cavemen thinking, look at the boss patterns and counter. Rinse and repeat for the win
For real
I recommend the Re1R, Re2 Orginal, Re3 Orginal, and Re4 Orginal. To know how the games are meant to be played. Then you can go back to play the remakes to see how the deves ruined the orginals.
Other than Re1r and Re4 the games are hard to access
@KuminsU emulators are really easy to use and work with.
True I meant legally even tho I hypothetically have no issue with it
@KuminsU oh yeah. It's difficult to own. Still, the Re2 Orginal did it way better.
those are literally the worst games to start with for beginners, cuz they're not exactly the easiest. as somebody who actually tried to do exactly as you say and started out with re1r, i literally gave up on the series thanks to how frustrating the horrible save system is. years later, i randomly tried re2 remake and loved it so much that i played through the series from there, then actually went back to the originals and played them. so yeah, playing either re2 remake or re4 remake first is definitely the way to go "how the devs ruined the original" my ass. ruined? dude, are you joking, you nostalgia blind or something? they literally just updated tthe games for a modern playerbase, they're arguably the best video game remakes ever made
