How to Use Displacement Maps in Blender In 1 Minute! | Blender Tutorial
Просмотров 7604 месяца назад
Hello everyone! FoxVentus here! Today I bring you my first Blender tutorial on How to Use Displacement Maps in Blender! Lemme know if you have any questions! #blender #blendertutorial
Please make next realistic lighting and render setting also😇
Will do! I'm not the best at lighting but I'll gladly share the few pointers I know, same for render settings.
Awesome 💥 Thanks a lot❤
My pleasure! Hope it helps out a bit with your needs!
@@FoxVentus Hey! do u have any idea where is the material blend mode option with alpha blend is? Because in youtube i have seeing old version tuts is there but newer version i am missing the options!
If you got the material tab for your mesh, look for the option that says seetings. There should be two options. One in blend mode and one is shadow mode. click on on those settings and the last option on both drop down menus should be alpha blend.
@@FoxVentus Are you saying blender latest version! because i tried check more videos every one saying same but in current version there is no alpha blend. let me know this is correct or am i missing something Material -> Setting-> Surface dropdown -> Render Method -> Blended this is what i have in current version of blender
You using 4.2? The steps i mentioned were done in version 4.1
pls make more tips and tricks tuts
Will do. Anything in particular you'd like to lear about?
@@FoxVentus Yes. want know about realistic stone/rock textures and lightings
Alrighty will do. I think in the meantime my displacement texture tutorial may come in handy with the rock stone texture. If you'd like to give that watch ruclips.net/video/BPpe82hqfJo/видео.html For the lighting I'll get to scripting that out.
@@FoxVentus Yes, i have watched already. I have some doubts like if we apply stone texture to any rectangle or triangle shape means can we apply directly or do we need to stretch or uv unwrap? render setting is need to be cycles and feature set is experimental these two setting is mandatory for this type of bump texture?
You may need to UV unwrap, I haven't tried it out with rectangles or triangles. I'll give it a try and let you know. And for the displacement method it does indeed need to be the cycles render engine with the experimental feature set for this particular method. I'll see if I can get a different method uploaded either later today or tomorrow on different ways of modeling a rock and texture something like a plance to look rocky.

Instructions too fast, more confused than before I started.
You stuck in a specific part or the whole thing? I'm more than happy to explain through text if that helps.
Finally, some freaking good and short explanation how it works
Thanks! Just wanna get straight to the point and not waste more time than I need to.
