For night flights, usually the turbulence I’ve experienced is during the climb. As this flight was mostly on the coast there were a couple bumps along the way!

Yes there was inflight service but I only filmed the departure of my flight. I have made a Belize to Houston trip report which you can find on my channel uploaded last year!

This flight was to Houston Intercontinental (IAH)

Depending on the day of the week and also the time of day, you can expect the process to be between 30 minutes on a good day (for tourists) up to over an hour for a crowded day. Transfers to tropical air are right next door to the arrivals hall after you pass through customs and immigration!

Flights are usually pretty smooth with the occasional bumps here and there

I have seen some criticism over American Airlines’ Business Class. I was glad to have had the experience and I do hope to see the difference among other US Airlines and their business class!

I personally like Delta compared to other US carriers, except their fares have always been more expensive and getting a good deal is considered lucky. I have gotten unlucky a couple times with a dirty window but you don’t know until you sit down!

US carriers make up the majority of traffic in Belize and is most convenient for most of our traveling population. Hoping to fly Central American carriers in the future to compare experiences!

Hi, great question! So I myself haven’t been paying any departure tax formy travels out of Belize and I don’t see anyone (Belizean nor non-Belizean) paying any departure tax at the departure record desk. I believe these days they should be included in your airline ticket!

I’ll be honest, I almost booked the JetBlue ticket for this trip but due to the short layover in JFK which wouldn’t have allowed me to properly film and have me rushing, I opted for the AA ticket instead. I really am looking forward to a JetBlue trip soon! Thanks!

Thank you! Im glad you are enjoying! The legroom was sufficient and I think most people would find it so. I am 5’10 just to give you some context and for me it’s just enough, however I have experienced much better. The padding on these seats has decreased and that should’ve somewhat improved legroom, but there were also new rows added which did not help… I believe we are looking at a 30” seat pitch for American’s new Economy class.

I do have a Belize to Dallas video on my channel, however I am looking to make an updated one next time!

I haven’t traveled much to and from Canada since this trip to see if anything has improved, but as a fan of the country, I really do hope for better from the national carrier. In my opinion and experience, for North American carriers, I will have to put Delta, Alaska Airlines and even United above Air Canada (dare I say my WestJet experiences have also been better)!
