If there’s a space there where you tighten it it’ll most likely dump eventually. I’ve had a few dump due to vibration without a space…then if you click too far tight it’ll break the detection line. These systems suck. The new box is better.
So you are suggesting to the end user to open up the control head and remove the cartridge when they are driving and trusting they will remember to put it back in? Are you serious??
I've been in Fire protection for 25 years and you are doing this incorrectly. Use the proper tools for the job like a 3/8 ratchet and extention bar. To reset the gas valve, use an allen wrench or allen socket. There is so much more that you aren't showing, and quite frankly, I don't think you know what those are. You are a 1st class trunk slamming hack. You should be embarrassed for making this video!
That C clamp is set wrong the system is gonna dump on you
Your system was improperly set.

Great vid however don’t use channel locks you’ll strip the set screw!
Never laughed so hard in my life. Great video
Does anyone know how to disarm this system, I can’t find anywhere that shows how to do it.
I don't think that is the correct set position.
It’s not.
@@bradgallant6144do you know how to disarm this system?
doesn’t the detection line needs to go all the way to the right, touching the stop bar, so there’s no gap.
Thank you!!!!!! This saved me $2500 today!
Nice, can you show one resetting a Range Guard A+ control head?
Just a warning.....if you screw that cartridge in without pushing the firing pin over......boom used system!!!

Disarming the system makes sense to me. Am I missing something?
