Good Afternoon can I ask what is predisone I had the iron infusion and still havigside effects

This is very informative because tomorrow is my 1st infusion. I found out about this by going to hospital for something that had nothing to do with this. I was just getting routine lab work. They come to me after about 30mins with a wheel chair. I thought it was a new routine thing since I hadn't seen a doc in over 4yrs. Anyway they said we're going to take you to a room get you set up for a blood transfusion. Needless to say I was a bit shocked. Told me my hemo whatever was really low. I said ok, no ty I'll schedule. Anyway they said we highly recommend you not leaving without getting it right now. Couldn't believe I was standing on my own. So after t blood transfusion of course I kept up with labs so now they recommended infusions. I've also recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer so it's kind of a dbl hit for me. Sorry so long just thought I'd share n thank you for your video. God is great and all will be well 🙏

I’m scared to get my iron infusions! Can anyone tell me if it made them gain weight?!! That is my biggest concern because I know the doctors gaslight you into thinking it never happens although sometimes it does. I gained weight on iron pills and they did not work so now they want me to get a blood infusion.

I had my 2nd iron infusion today and it definitely went better than the first one and I actually feel better tonight than I did for the first one!! Hope you’re doing better now.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I am 70 yrs old and I was at 8.7. I did get one iron infusion 4 weeks ago, some reactions but I got through them ok. It took 6 hours for my iron infusion, I was given dextron, will get my labs done in about 2 weeks so that was 6 weeks from infusion. I am a lot better but still get tired easily. I did retire and I am not sure how I even worked! I also have three horses I take care of including I cleaned their stalls twice a day...the Dr couldn't believe I was able to do what I did. I guess it was pure will? I am not sure I even know what it feels like to be NOT tired. God bless you!

I go in for my Iron Infusions starting on the 3rd of January and I'm not going to lie, I'm scared especially after you mentioned in your last video that some could die. So of course I went down a rabbit hole and did my research and I'm praying for the best. I'm glad you're doing well. Happy New Year!

It’s a normal side effect to get bone pain after an iron infusion. Sounds like yours was severe though.

I was, i kid you not 3.2 i can sleep for 16 hours solid even then i still feel tired im up in the 7 .5 they admit me after bloods most of the time i have cirrhosis

Hi Tisa, my hemoglobin is 10, ferritin 2, iron 15. I have scheduled iron transfusion next week. I really wanted to get one as I get gastritis for iron pills. Now I watched some negatives on RUclips about infusion so now I am terrified 😢.
