Many digital orchestra renderings have way too much reverb for my tastes. Being fortunate enough to live in Cleveland and to have the relatively dryer sounding Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Chamber Symphony sound as a benchmark, I strive for that closer imaging sound. It makes it all so much tougher though, let me just say! :-) But I stray - good tips here.

I really like that you show how this works using Ableton since this is the DAW that I picked to start on. Most people are using Cubase or Logic. Since I am a PC user, Logic is out. Ableton seemed to have a better work flow and cleaner interface. I have been trying to create Orchestral hybrid type of music and your videos in orchestral music have been very helpful and informative. Thanks for the great videos on this.
