DIY Halloween fire prop
Просмотров 473 тыс.9 лет назад
How to make a hot coal fire prop for Halloween! Perfect for under a witches cauldron!
How long does it take for foam to dry?
Never liked halloween.
I love how this turned out! 💖 FYI - Walmart has their own brand of spray foam that's even cheaper, and I actually prefer it for craft projects, because it expands a little bit more. I initially bought their version when I was making a faux "rock" base under a life-sized Iron Throne from Game of Thrones and needed a LOT of foam, so I figured it was worth a try, but it ended up working so well that it's honestly been my personal "go-to" spray foam ever since! 😉😁
Thank you for sharing this awesome idea. I wonder if this idea will work on a dress
Awsome video 💀🤘🏽
OMG I cant wait for next Halloween!! XD
For safety, you should specify USE LED LIGHTS ONLY. LEDs don't heat up, typical string lights (aka Christmas lights) do.
Looks amazing
You’re cool I love you
Omg you genius !
❤❤❤❤👍👍👍
I made one and not even 24 hours later did the lights no longer work.
what zodiac sign are you?
Love this idea ❤ thank you for sharing
Can you take it off the cardboard?
Brilliant. Well done.
Love you baby
Very impressive my dear. Whos idea was this?? :-)
What size PVC?
Dude!! You've seriously upped my halloween game! I made lava using this!
I just ordered the stuff to pick up tommorow . Thank you for the idea!🎃
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It looks great.
great stuff Fireblock foam is orange, would make a better base
Soooo cool! Thank you cool Halloween chick! Ima try it!
This is so cool!!!!!
love the pool noodle idea for closing the inside.
That is really clever Thanks
Wouldn't the foam and paint be flammable?
That's Awesome!!! I really wanna try this ...
Is it lying on a bright light? You didn’t mention how you used the lights? Are they on top or under? Or is it a bigger light source under it?
When you let the lights up did the phone start leaking because it was too hot I did one and for some reason foam is leaking out
This is soooooo good!!
Very cool idea and cheap. Thanks for sharing.
This helped with my wedding proposal idea, thanks a bunch
Awesome!
You should definitely make some more videos. These are awesome ideas love them
Sick!!! I'm definitely going to try this! Thank you 🔥
Two questions. How long did the foam take to dry and did it stick to the cardboard?
wow
Wow! It looks amazing! Great job 👍
Thank you! 😊
what happen if the light bulb go out the stuff cover with foam nice love it ?
I would just make another if the lights go out, that's why I used cheap lights. However, this one is 5 years old now and still works!
Very well made tutorial. Your candles look great! I like your use of the pool noodle pieces. I’m making 8 sets of these for my Halloween graveyard. I’m adding a phone charger as a power supply to each set. They’ll plug into my yard lighting timer. These tea lights run on 3 volts so you can wire 2 or 3 LEDs in series and power it with a phone charger.
That's so cool! We have a big yard display with wires everywhere, I'll have to share sometime! I usually set these up on the candy table because they are safe to be knocked over when the kids get scared and they don't break.
Wow! That'll impressive!
Thank you!
Those look pretty nice. How do you come up with these things?
Cool idea. I'm wondering what it looks like if the lights change slowly or fade from some to others. Does the lights you used do that?
No, I just used some old orange lights. Cool idea though!
@@thestrangecharm580 Yea it is, and I'm going to try it with some lights that fade from some to others to see if it looks like an actual fire.
Thank you so so much this was a great idea and so easy to make this year for Thanksgiving 2019 celebrations on my house I do have a fireplace but didn’t wanna get something dangerous for the little ones and it came up perfect!
T Jiron I’m so glad it worked so well for your plans! 😊
Nice video! 👍 What if you took this build and cut slits through it and made paper fire shapes with a fan underneath it and pushing the paper up through the slits.
That's a great idea! Its a very versatile design. =)
Now that was Cool, Simple, Inexpensive and easy to make. Thank you for putting this on the internet, now I have stolen an idea for my house for next Halloween. Definitely a 👍 Awesome 🤪🤙
SAMMY Thank you! It’s so cool to see how many people have made these now! I’m happy everyone is enjoying this and incorporating it in even more cool ideas! 😊 🖤
I was thinking , and not to put it down at all, but if the orange lights had a twinkle to them it would give the fire movement. Love this idea , thanks
Absolutely! This is just my super simple fire idea. I love that its versatile and can be elaborated on. Thank you for sharing your idea! =)
Made this, tried to save money by using paint from Dollar tree, which took a lot longer than spray paint.
