This is an uncut guide on leveling in WoW wotlk. It will explain the basics of leveling and will point out mistakes made by most players. The armor reduction in value over time isn't true. It was done by people who couldn't math. 550 Armor = +10% Increase in Effective HP and this increase doesn't seem to have a cap. I thought this for YEARS then did the math comparing 2K Armor to 10K Armor and the effective HP gain was 550 = +10%. That's how it works in classic... not sure it still holds WoTLK.
Which Elixirs are those in 24:36 ?

what about engineering?
Engineering is quite an expensive profession to level, however it pays off in many situations. During leveling you get a lot of gadgets, which are nice to have. It is especially worth it if you have access to higher level mats to keep your profession skill ahead of your own character level. The bombs and gadgets you can create have a low minimum level (if any) and instead require a specific skill level. This allows you to use hard hitting aoe bombs on mobs which are way lower in level. If you are new on a server I don't recommend it except you want to put your extra time and effort into farming the mats. However, you might want to focus more on making gold at that stage to afford mounts, bags and abilities.

Question: im a lvl 20 gnome warlock and i just unlocked the felsteed spell, theres a dreadsteed spell that i need " Riding 40" to unlock. So what is Riding 40? Im new to the game dont judge

you lost me after 3 minutes when you said you recommend arms for leveling. take that shit and throw it out the window, spec into prot, get shieldblock to 40 sec cd and revenge fully hitting 2 targets by the time youre 23 and enjoy easily surviving pulls of 15 mobs, all while never running out of rage or buttons to press. also enjoy instaque and the highest dmg out of all 3 specs
Yes, prot Warriors are easily one of the most fun classes to level in WotLK. You basically steamroll everything once you get your core abilities (which is at quite a low level!). The only challange arises when you fight multiple caster mobs. But with Alchemy (lots of buffs and pots) or Engineering even those situations are a piece of cake. You will also be a horror for rogues which are the most annoying in world pvp while leveling. Also don't make the mistake of going for single pulls. Always have at least 2-3 mobs on you!

hes right about that, you unbaked brerad dough retri is far superior for soloing. you aint got no buisness touching that useless prot talent tree while leveling. only 2 buttons to press and extremely low dmg, almost no fuckin aoe or literally any crumb of mana regen up until level 50ish, no self healing, only subpar mitigation and heaps of talent points wasted just so you can advance in the tree. by the time you get hammer of the righteous youll probably want to delete you underperforming yellow soldier and y the time you get shield of righteousness youll probably forget to even use that weak spell because you get used to gaining exp just by gathering herbs meanwhile, you can spec into retri and get to swing your aoe dick by level 20, stack dmg boost on top of dmg boost as you advance down the tree and by the time youre 45 you have no mana issues and a powerful insta heal available quite often. just slap on a shield and onehander and enjoy downing 3 times as much as a prot can

Yes. Go to your trainer and there is reset talent or unlearn option.
