Damn, was hoping he'd just shoot her in the head and then himself, even if she had escaped, what kind of life would he be forcing her into? Pain, misery, sorrow, her heart would grow ice over it, she'd be a walking corpse. To kill her and then himself would've been an act of mercy. Just thought about it, if he shot her, then was taken as a prisoner of war, that'd be an interesting story! Anyway, I ain't got no context for this show.

I mean. I get what they were going for here, truly i do, but... the part where her second arm falls and we get a back shot of her armless torso, and she tries to drag him with her jaw... that shit is unintentionally funny like that scene from Monty Python or Ben Stiller in Tropic Thunder

I like that unlike most shonen HxH doesn't just brush off the trauma the characters have endured and integrates it into their personality. I like to think of Illumi in this scene as a physical representation of Killua's trauma. Obviously he's really there, but narrative wise it's far more than that.
