We can’t figure it out.. it fits but sticks out to far and also isn’t a blue tab to collapse or expand however it looks long like legal size but at a loss if its the wrong one or needs to somehow collapse. Paid over $20 for it and hate for it not to work. Any advice?

This printer is an “n” model, meaning it doesn’t support wireless printing. You can connect it to your computer using a USB cable for functionality. If you’ve checked all the locations shown in the video and still can’t see the paper jam, it’s possible that a small piece of paper is stuck inside, or a sensor might be malfunctioning. We’d be happy to diagnose it for you if you’re in the Oklahoma area and can drop it off. If you’re outside the area, visiting your nearest HP authorized dealer is another great option!

For the HP 4001n, according to HP, the HP 148A (standard yield) prints approximately 2,900 pages, and the HP 148X (high yield) prints around 9,500 pages, based on 5% coverage. However, from my experience with these printers, the actual yield is usually lower. In actual use, remanufactured or OEM standard yield cartridges typically handle about 2,000 pages, and the high yield cartridges manage around 6,000 pages. But you’re right, with some of the cheaper brands, they might just refill the toner without resetting the internal lever, which causes these kinds of issues. It’s is true that if you pull out very quick and not professionally it will get stuck and get torn you must pull it out with both hands very slowly if that doesn’t work for you try removing the cartridges and see if you can take the paper out from there
