Restoring a Lignum Vitae Mallet
I get the mallet from a vintage tool auction. It's made of ligament vitae, the hardest wood in the world that's basically no longer available for woodworking. I mainly stabilized the crack with epoxy and remade the handle with a unique piece of bocote. The finish is shellac using French polish.

This is a corner of a box I'm making, it's made of teak with quite difficult grain, my No 4 had some tear out when cleaning the surface. This scraper however did the fantastic job!
Handmade Minimalistic Phone Stand

Phone stand is probably the most efficient way to use this scrap piece of kingwood I can think of. Sure, a square block with a grove would work fine for this purpose, but I like more organic shapes with curvatures. In this build, I am using hand tools only and try to find the most pleasing shapes based on the natural color of the wood(the lighter sapwood and darker heartwood). Also, I have been...
Height adjustable workbench for woodworking

Welcome to my first workbench showcase! I'm excited to share the design and demonstrate some of its functionalities. Although I couldn't cover all the use cases, its height adjustability offers many more possibilities. I am a woodworking hobbyist based in downtown Jersey City, and this workbench is set up in one corner of my living room. Materials Used: Wood: Maple, Purpleheart, and Plywood Fac...
A drawer front made of interlocking joints

I modified the original joint design so it can join two boards end to end. The new design essentially consists of two Kanawa tsugi joints stacked back to back. On top of that, I also secured the handle to the two wedges with a third wedge. The e...

Can you share information on the lift mechanism? Is it simply a standing desk base or something else?

It looks like a Deskhaus Vertex Pro base

It's a Vertex Pro from Deskhaus. It's stable enough out of box for planing wood. But I designed the tool chest to further stabilize it when lifted, here's the main idea: www.reddit.com/r/deskhaus/comments/16yj2ui/a_piece_of_plywood_removes_wobbles_at_chest_height/
