ROTTMNT movie is my favorite, because It's just so tragic, in my opinion. I like movies that have that hopeless time, where everything seems like it could not POSSIBLY get better. That's what I feel Mutant Mayhem lacked. I would have liked to go further into the milking plot.

This felt like a show that I should have liked but didn't. Like something about the voice acting was really grating and the plot lines felt dull and either bored or annoyed the shit out if me. Mickey making unfunny jokes about Lee's name in the most grating voice ever is what killed it for me. Like haha her name is Eel but backwards it's not that funny and then she just started screaming about her evil plan for no reason. It's painful to watch

Swap Mikey and Donnie's voice and they would both work better. How on earth you screw up Mikey in the most comedic take on TMNT is beyond me. Mikey should be MVP. I haven't liked a Splinter in like ten years. He's basically an Asian stereotype in this and Rise and they cast Chinese to play Japanese in the movie which is a problem imo. China didn't even have ninjas. Canon his name is Hamato Yoshi. That's mad Japanese and they picked Jackie Chan. It's just kind of ignorant bordering on racist. They did a terrible job marketing this too.

I thought maybe i was being mean about Mikey's voice performance. Hearing one else say it is validating. I loved Donnie's high voice next to Mikey's deep voice but the lack of energy makes it's a little jarring.

I gave it 9.5 loved it! What they did the splinter kept it from being perfect.

I have a theory that the boy that they save in the third movie is actually Hamato Yoshi, the man who would adopt Splinter and have a rivalry with Oroku Saki AKA Shredder. It’s somewhat farfetched but I think there’s some merit to it if you think about it. Also, love the elevator scene in the 2014 movie. Funniest thing ever in my opinion.

Rise being #5 not the worst, not the best I personally wanted it higher, but at least it isn't at the bottom, like how most people see anything from Rise

I'm probably gonna watch it but my god is the animation look super rough like I can almost count the frames of animation they drew and the art style looks good almost like a comic book but the choppy animation makes it kinda distorted or irritating to look at for a long time but why does the animation seem fluid in some scenes while others are just choppy distorted slowed down frames also the voice acting is kind of annoying and as someone who grew up in the ghetto Queens New York and moved to California I can personally tell you none of them sound like New Yorkers but they do sound like kids from Los Angeles or Long Beach and the turtles are supposed to be teens while the Voice actors sound like kids which is like the movie but isn't my favorite of these turtles and its a good show for kids but isn't show a for all TMNT fans like the previous ones

i was surprised by batman vs the tmnt being #1 but you made some really good points, it’s a fabulous movie and it deserves a lot more attention from the fandom.

I haven't heard the 2003 intro since 2010(I think), it's funny listening to it now and actually understand all of what they are singing (I'm not a native speaker) "if all else fails, then it's time to kick butt" lol

Having grown up with all of theses shows (Born in 03), all these intros/shows hold a special place in my heart. I used to watch the 87 show via VHS tapes and watched the 03 series on 4kids while it aired (even Turtles Forever as a TV special). Middle school i had 2012 and in highschool Rise. I wouldn't necessarily rank them by how good of a song they are but just if i enjoy them more than the others. In no particular order top 5 are 2003 (OG), Rise, Back to the Sewer, 2012 and Tales.

Great video! Thanks for highlighting that the ship DOES have positive elements, it’s pretty refreshing compared to other videos on ships I’ve seen. It feels like they finally got it right with Mutant Mayhem. While Leo has a hardcore crush on April, it doesn’t come off as creepy, just awkward, but in an adorable way, and on top of that, they also enjoy hanging out as just friends, he doesn’t try to pressure her.

I just hate April getting shipped with the turtles in general. Not only does she always feel so sibling coded to me, why do they keep having to do "OKAY. WE HAVE GIRL. SINGLE GIRL. NOW GET HER INTO RELATIONSHIP. WHY ELSE MAKE GIRL CHARACTER" like. She's the only main girl character and they're already trying to get her into a relationship😭😭 Not everything needs to be romantic.

My favorite movies are the 1990 movie (the first one), the 2007 one, Turtles Forever, and Batman VS TMNT.

I also agree the show can evolve a lot into something bigger but one I thing I hope for is another crossover with one of the other iterations

Been loving your videos on the turtles. They are really good and so thought out. Okay for me The 2014 film to me is the weakest where I felt there was nothing to me that made me go okay. It had no bang to it. Megan Fox I agree isn’t the right choice for April. TMNT 3 is a nice one to me. I do agree with your top two indeed but I would swap them around to me as the 1990s one is like my childhood even with the problems it has. Batman VS TMNT is fantastic but I felt the turtles needed something more to me. Again great job with your top 10.

I've never seen the actual Rise show, but the movie is my favorite TMNT movie.

Y’know for Splinter they could’ve got James Sie who voiced Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures and Monkey from the first Kung Fu Panda series

This series is uneventful. No action until halfway through. The dialogue isn’t funny and it’s slow paced. They could’ve done better. The individual storylines made fall asleep.

There are a few things that I didn't like about the series. Splinter not having a voice actor really bugged me. Didn't like how they kept mentioning Bebop and Rocksteady but they are missing from the show the whole time. I guess they are being held back same with Shredder since he was alluded to at the end of the movie, but we see no sign of him at all in the show. One thing I will say that I liked about the show is their character designs all work better in 2D then in the 3D movie. The movie just made them all look....."ugly". And not in a good way.

Its a fun series i enjoyed the jokes and certain tmnt characters from comics media like angel etc being in the show. The action has that rise of the tmnt/anime esque stuff especially the final episode against goldfinn. In comparison My Favorite still 2k3 version but i enjoyed the expansion

I was definitely surprised by some spots on this list. But i overall agreed with most of what you said. Especially #1 it truly is an amazing movie and as a Mikey stan, just really hits all the beats.

I'm from Uruguay, and here the season was 6 episode long, I don't know why, but I'm pretty angry at paramount plus because of this. I literally only watched the mechazoid's storyline and didn't even know that there was more until I looked up for some reviews.

Them constantly reiterating that they didn’t actually do anything interesting since the attack on the city literally made me want to drop the show If none of this actually is happening, then why would I care enough to continue? Who cares if the next movies retcon it. Having a secondary universe as a show is better than having a canon show that has no stakes

Now I'm no zoologist but I don't remember plants being animals. I think Ivy should've turned into a Giant Bee or Wasp, considering A those insects are animals, and B, they're heavily associated with plants, just like Ivy. Doesn't hurt the film AT ALL, but just something I thought I'd mention.
