I love the chorus but I think it deserves to be heard a third time after the instrumental section. Maybe with a guitar solo coda (think the live version of Arriving Somewhere but not Here.) Maybe slightly tropey and cliche but I think it would have elevated the song to me somewhat. Its interesting chords to play a guitar solo over.
