    I had a '74 dt100, $549.00 for 13th birthday. Burned a hole in the piston. Had it bored with new piston, light porting, expansion chamber, and proper carb jetting. That thing woke up and would top out 65-70mph. Loved that bike, wish I had it now to restore.

    Hello, I'm James Crahen, the son of Christopher Crahen and not the father mentioned in his comment. Your motorcycle is great and looking wonderful! Also, many other Crahens are around our world; have you seen Christopher Crahen's wolf video, or his johnboat video? Or how about Heidi Crahen's Ina Garten awkward lip readings? Again, lovely motorcycle!

Capital. Precisando atravessar a Presidente dutra ate Sao paulo. Capital. Ass. Pedrao. Bjs. Bye Bye. Cuidado. Muito cuidado que eles podem te queimar. Ouviu meu irmao. Va a luta. Ate mais. Ass. Pedrao. Bjs. Bye Bye.

    My father, James Crahen, bought a Honda Scrambler back in the early 70s while stationed in the Philippines. He disassembled it and mailed it piece by piece to my mother up in Caribou Maine (Air Force base). When he got home from the war, he reassembled it and we all enjoyed it. He recently sold it (new condition, with 600 miles) to Kaplan Motorcycle Museum in Rockville, CT. Happy to know other Crahens have and enjoy their Honda's. Your bike is cherry. Enjoy!

    I saved up my money and bought that same bike in 1975 for 575.00 including PA sales tax. I had my best memories riding our bikes with all the kids in the neighborhood. Then the cops started breaking are balls and kept given us tickets because they weren't tagged and we were under age. I was thirteen years old. That's when my dad made me sell it. Because of all the fines. Just brings back good memories. Good to see the bikes are still around.

      Same here - I had the green one, one year later. Now I bought one just like that for grins, and as a pit bike for when I am racing cars. So many guys in the 40s to the 60s stop me and smile.. brings them memories, and just love it when I say "I bought it to use it - take it for a spin!"

    Sounds like maybe a piston wrist pin is wearing out, or maybe a main bearing, or just plain ole piston slap from a worn piston?

      Sounds to me like its not getting two stroke oil and being lubricated. Also why its not smoking at all.

    Why is there 2 spark plugs and only one wire

    • @josephcrahen7161
      @josephcrahen7161 8 лет назад

      +Keelan Coates I've heard the second hole was originally designed for a decompressor. My understanding was that a second spark plug could take the place of the decompressor and could be used as a spare in case you were to foul a plug while out riding.
