Digital optimization of GDMT for HF
Despite proven benefits in reducing morbidity and mortality, many heart failure (HF) patients do not receive optimal guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT).
In this episode Dr. Chadi Alraies discusses with Dr. Mark Schuuring about digital methods to optimize GDMT for HF patients, as well as discussing the ADMINISTER trial. This trial aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a multifaceted digital intervention for GDMT optimization in HFrEF patients. This trial adopts a remote strategy for GDMT optimization.

Is elevated Nt Pro BnP something to worry about? I recently ordered labs and mine came back at 131 and my hematocrit was just slightly elevated as well as my hs-crp at 2.2. I don’t have a doctor or health insurance, I order the tests online and have no one to talk to about them. Also, I’m one with high Lp(a) 330 nmol/L. Not sure if that helps.

Thank you, I have chest pains for 2 years, my life is so bad from that day it started, I've been told that everything is ok but I've paid for my CT scan and found out I have short intramyocardial segment that started to give me symptoms after long ride on bicycle, had so many wrong diagnosis it's ridiculus, been sent home by 2 cardiologists already and now waiting for the third visit and just hope that this time they will make it right, I am 36 I want to run, ride, play end enjoy my life, this nightmare needs to stop.

Thanks for raising awareness about myocardial bridge. The appropriate test for myocardial bridge is a cath with a dobutamine challenge, diastolic ffr or IFR or RFR. FFR is not recommended as the artery can be compressed well into diastole. IVUS can be performed also
