Just looking at our own Family a person can see the benefit of shop class. An AC Technician, 3 engineers (2 Electrical and advanced electronics, one with diesel, one of the E/E with 2 Federal Completion of Apprenticeships,), another Master Electrician, a factory production manager, and a courtroom electronics technician in Texas. All started making stuff and learning skills in shop class. Thank you to the teachers who did an outstanding job.

We need more of this, time to bring back shop in all schools

Thanks for the video! One minor correction - the old "BALL PERFECT MASON" jars were made by Ball Bros Glass (based in Muncie, Indiana) from 1913 to about 1960. (Not counting new BPM jars that have come out since around 2013). However they went through a number of Ball cursive font variations over the years. (There are charts online showing the progression of how the "Ball" trademark looks on the front of the jar). Your jar (with the "BALL" having no underline) is the type that dates from circa 1923 to 1933. The "blue-aqua or "Ball Blue" color of Ball Perfect Masons were made up until 1937 - when they switched to clear glass, as consumers wanted the clear glass so they could see the food better. I noticed there is a "7" mold number on the bottom. The mold numbers identified the mold on the automatic jar blowing machine. The Ball Perfect Masons can be found with mold numbers from 0 to 15 on the bottom. Some have a number AND a letter. Sometimes the number is backwards.

People ya need realizing instead posting nice way spend night in desert.. My day started as this day did in high desert.. Has now rained hailed, thunder lightening etc, this is for survival not nice night away. Still get up in morning hope find bearings to hike out.. or look at the stars find direction so ya can head that way in morning... 37 at night, a couple more degrees lower, and little moister you have snow in Desert... More things hunt at night.. You might wake up to a snake in bed with you.. Have spend a second or third night what are you going to do for food?.. Ask questions learn from this. Many ways this could happen say ya fell asleep drove off road etc now have to survive for you and maybe family or buddy with you... My 2 cents worth great video Hope you do more
