So maybe they will go away and return with some software frame generation built into their cards too ,looks like we have reached a point where hardware requires too much power to be sensible along with the silly prices GPU's now cost nowadays. This is my bike! Absolutely drained my pockets, but it's a super reliable bike so far. I have nit-picks but it hasn't failed me. In my opinion, if bikes had hero dreams, all cargo bikes would dream of being the pedego cargo 😂

I'm still on a GTX 1080, which I bought for 550$. Prices were suppose to go down after the tanking of the crypto markets, but Nvidia just kept the prices high. Even if you don't buy the cards, the AI boom market is sucking them up, and they are taking advantage of that. Sad to say, but gamers have not been on Nvidias mind for the last 5 years. These are not gaming cards anymore, these are AI cards.

Well i have been saving money for 6 years for that so i'll be able to handle it but godaman the hell are those prices xD

Trouble is, everyone and their grandmother compensate for the inflation PLUS extra profit EXCEPT the final user. And both NVIDIA and their board partners are greedy. Not to mention the distributor importer and the retail sellers. And then the government also adds their VAT. Finally, you can have that crap that you pay from your salary that has also been reduced by the income tax and the many years of the company's unwillingness to properly compensate for the inflation. Less than a week ago, I switched to AMD (6700XT) from 1060 (3GB).. totally worth it.

Only AMD or Intel now. Nvidia don't care. They are AI company now. They will shout prices like this because eathier we buy it or not, they are still on top. You buy 5080? Well, you are looser, 60xx family will be even more expensive. You don't? Well, selling gaming GPU is only small part of they revenue, most is from AI. If nobody will buy it, there will be no 60xx, they will put effort into AI gpu only. We lose this way or another. Its even more annoying when we realize, that we created this monster. More 80% gaming gpus in rigs are from Nvidia. I hear people rooting for Intel, but when they asked, if they wanna buy BXXX series, they telling no, they only want to put presure on Nvidia. Maybe next guy will buy BXXX series. Next guy saying same thing, and next guy, and next... At the end no ona want tu buying Interl or AMD, but without buying their gpu they wont succeced. So, Im talking from perspective of a person whos 3 last cards was from Nvidia - don't buy it. Im gonna go for AMD 9XXX family this year, no matter of what. Im done with Nvidia.

Nvidia already gave us a free tool for FPS upgrades - it's called DLSS so you don't have to buy every gen.
