If you think about the gods staring in epic, they are all either wind or water based. Athena is mind based which checks out too, zeus might also be considered of great importance but he is kinda like a wild card especially in a god wide conflict.

Naw he's the hottest version I've ever seen. His design I love. Showing that he's more determined than naive as normally depicted and that he's aware of the fact that he's not skilled enough with sword fighting when against Antinous, using his fists to have a very slightly better chance of surviving the fight.
