Is Temu , esty, Amazon, eBay scammer cause , I got ripped off thousands of dollars off all these websites through out the years .

Last year I went to my post office and ended up getting a certified letter from the IRS. I didn't go this time to find out.

I ordered a T-shirt from a website I found on my instagram reel. I’ve had a lot of legit sellers displayed there so I figured I was fine. Plus, the website that opened in browser looked legit. It was late at night and I was half thinking while “watching” a movie. 💀 The first red flag was that I didn’t receive an order confirmation as the website said I would. So I dug a little deeper into the website. I noticed there were multiple affiliated websites that claimed to be the same company that were on facebook. Different domain, same product, different “people” claiming it to be a small family business… then I looked online for the original link and looked through the website (not inside of instagrams browser this time). It had everything a website needs, so I contacted the service email to question about the order confirmation not being sent. It bounced back as not existing… and I inputed the website domain into ScamAdvisor and the rating was 1/100 (lol). Needless to say I had everything to make a claim with my credit card agency. I called up my bank and credit agency and got approved for the charge dispute. Funnily enough, an additional foreign transaction fee showed up as well for .79 cents. I may have gone overboard, but I changed my password for everything related to my bank. To feel a bit safer I suppose… Fast forward the following week, and lo and behold, I received my confirmation email. Shocker! I didn’t click the affiliate link as I still don’t trust it, but I commend the effort. Only time will tell if I actually get my t-shirt. I’d still bet its a scammer trying to cover his tracks since its been reported. But moral of the story, this was an eye opening experience as to how ignorant I can be online. I thought was was better, but it was too late this time.

I never entered any information linked to any bank card and it sent an email saying order completed and it didint spend any money

"Miss any red flags?" Well, yes, a few. Grammar, for instance. "To deliver your package..." The recipient isn't going to deliver anything. "...update your address by click the link..." Was this written by a second grader? Of course the whole premise is wrong. I don't get to claim a package by emailing the post office and changing the delivery address. And the Post Office doesn't warn the (supposed) recipient they're returning mail; they just do it. Actually, scammers (those who actually speak English) intentionally put grammatical and other errors into their communications so people who can spot them will not reply and "waste" the scammer's time..

These scams are so obvious nowdays.

But I have had nothing but problems ordering online. Out of the last 12 purchases..only 2 arrived on time and some was run over. Bigger hassle than convenience. Im.done..

Thank you for this information. It is very badly needed. I was scammed by a website, claiming to be Bed Bath and Beyond business closing sale recently. It dawn on me that it was a scam, right after I entered my information. It was a Sunday night and the bank was closed , therefore I had to wait until Monday morning to report it. I did have them delete that debit card and issue a new one. I was scammed out of $19 and some cents. It could have been worse. The Bank did not reverse the charges. The Bank employee told me to wait thirty days to see if the product shows up. I do not know if I will get my money back . They did not seem to be much help in that regard, even after I told them it was a scam website. Now I know what to look for , thanks to you. You have given us very helpful important information.
