This is a great tutorial and I highly recommend Valutwarden. Vaultwarden has been my standard for quite some time and I can't say enough good things about it, NPM and many other Open Source projects. I found it interesting that you didn't expose the web port for the container. Then as I watched I understood that all apps in this tutorial are running on the same host and docker instance. Thanks for the Great, Concise tutorial Sincerely, New Subscriber to your channel.

Does Trilium store the notes in plain text? That was the OS can index them and you can find information in the notes using Apple Spotlight.

I saw this on their github, but basically they decided to go with a SQLite database, so not sure if this would work for you. Here's the link where he explains why they went this route: github.com/zadam/trilium/wiki/FAQ Thank you for asking a great question!

@@synacktime I tried it out yesterday. About 5 minutes later I deleted it. The interface is unintuitive. It took me most of those 5 minutes to figure out how to create a note. There isn’t a “compose” or “new note” button. Then I tried to create s folder to store notes in, and it doesn’t look like you can do that at all. I’ve tried out a dozen or so notes taking apps this year on my search for “the one” and this one was the most difficult to use. For comparison, It was easier to install Nextcloud on a VPS and use their Notes app than Trilium.

honestly I wasn't expecting that I'll be seeing the video, & so thoroughly explained in such a short time.. kudos to your passion towards your subscribers & mentioning my name/handle.. For your next project I can totally recommend you installing "Sterling PDF" through portainer.. it's really useful PDF solution. It's a self hosted and an alternative to other paid online PDF solutions such as sejda pdf, ilovepdf etc.. Cheers :)
