Big A Calendar A New Way to Plan Your Adventures
What's with the gun? Are you expecting a war or are just trying to show your machismo cred? Either way you're ridiculous.
Usal stood for USA lumber company. Greedy bastards.
I gave you a thumbs up even though your electronic sounds suck. Did you purposely not show the entrance to Usal zBeach which is unmarked for good Rea so?
@rayray4192 ah my early RUclips videos. I typically try to keep free sites a bit vague on location. With a little focused research, anyone could find these spots, but as I imagine you know, that's part of the fun.
My You Tube is screwed up so I think I’m responding to myself; I’m trying to respond to you. It’s epic to continue north on the Usal Beach road. Born in Eureka and living near Crescent 🌙 City. The Usal Beach weekend parties are annoying and out of control. Jedediah Smith Park at Crescent 🌙 City now features steel grate walkways and staircases. When the Grove of Titans was unknown I walked into the grove carrying my heavy boots, and on the way out I scattered tree branches to hide the ‘ society trail.’ Now the trail to Grove of Titans is like a Redwoods Disneyland. I go on weekdays. I admire your style and sense of adventure. Happy trails. Look for my green 1992 Toyota Forerunner with the Oregon Smokey the Bear vanity plate = Sequoa. I know it’s spelled wrong. Oregon only allows 6 letters. Jedediah Smith is my favorite park. What’s yours?
As I got deeper into the video the real music was very good. I loathe electronic noise.
@rayray4192 I would love to go back there to explore. This was one of our first offroad trips. We were both new at it and didn't know what we didn't know. We did have a fun trip to Needle Rock the following day, but that was about all Dawn's nerves could handle at that time 😆. Fast forward, we have been offroadimg countless times now. So it would be fun to do it again. Safe travels out there.
@rayray4192 I'm glad it warmed up for you a bit. I couldn't recall how I laid out the audio.
That’s a fucking wrap off. I would rather buy the sprinter fuck that shit.
WoW very cool I have the only van in my town LOL would be cool to go with a pack of vans for sure.
@@OverlandCitrus it takes the right kind of van owners. Which is this group for sure.
Love seeing Dawn and yours dream take shape. ❤
@@rajelio it's a blessing for sure.
curious, after a year or so of use, are you still thrilled with it? i am keeping my eye on the market for a used one, as they've discontinued the line.
@@thewaterfallchaser4796 yes. It serves our needs for how we use our van. We absolutely have no complaints.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family Enjoy
@@OverlandCitrus same to you. May God shine brightly on your family and loved ones.
Rich people with their rich people toys. 👎
You know, there is a bible verses that I play out in my head almost daily. Matthew 7:1-5 ESV [1] “Judge not, that you be not judged. [2] For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. [3] Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? [4] Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? [5] You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. In this group of "rich people", you have 2 retired Police Officers, 2 retired teachers, a UPS driver married to a hairdresser, a small struggling business owners, and a couple of retired general contractors. It's a pleasure to call these people friends. May you see clearly today.
It’s looking great . What a perfect spot to park the van !
@@alaskakv it's such a blessing.
Sounds like a absolutely great project. I’m curious if you all looked at the zoning? Perhaps irrelevant if it’s just a few families, but what would happen if you wanted to expand and allow others to use it?
@@lorenworthington8739 we're not planning anything beyond friends and family use for free. We're zoned appropriately for that use case.
Gran bosque 😮
@@yesidtac7863 indeed, very grand.

@@sjensen71 thank you. It's getting there.
Sure is a lot of costly gear. Very nice but pricey. With the little wall mount fire place, do you have any issues with the exhaust coming out of the flu and getting into the top tent when you are sleeping? Or have you not camped in the winter/cold weather where you have chose or needed to keep it burning all night to keep warm enough? Appreciate the time you took to sit down and give a full break down on the cost for outfitting your rig.
Oh, we use both of our adventure rigs throughout the year. We typically average 100 nights in our vehicles. Regarding the stove pipe. It doesn't get in the way at all. The only thing you have to work around is the tent front rainfly, but it easily goes up. You just have to pick which side of the pipe you want the bar rainfly bar on. Once again, no issue. Regarding the price. Yes, these things are expensive, but if you use them, the memories can be priceless.
Hi Sean, how long did it take to order the Alu Cab and the parts? How many days did it take Mule to complete the build? Would you recommend Mule? I live in Vancouver, BC and looking for a honest business to build my Overland Vehicle.
@chaninski it took about 40-60 days to get it all done. Installation was done within a week. I have had nothing but positive interactions with Mule. I would recommend them. Clearly, you have watched my videos and know I'm not sponsored in any way by Mule or any of the products. I love my setup. Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions.
@@seandawnvantures2001 Thanks for the quick reply. I really appreciate it. I just found your channel while doing research on Overland Vehicles. I found your channel very informative. Keep up the videos!
Not in that vehicle!! Buy a jeep
Family and friends, makings for a good trip. ❤
@@rajelio amen to that.
Ha! I've been up there a dozen times in a 2WD 1984 Ford 1/2 ton, no lift required, easy peasy. You don't need a $100,000 "overlander" to do most of these areas. Just be smart about clearance.
I think i would skip the red arc and just buy a jackery 3000 with solar panels. But I'm happy for you that you can make all these memories. Thank you for posting
I really love and appreciate how you give the glory to God! 🙏 I've noticed that in a few of your videos. Stay blessed, my brother in Christ!
@ToadMan9000 I am nothing without Christ. All the good in my life is because of Him. Blessing to you, Brother 🙏
Nice camper rig!
Deadly Heat?! "It's going to be a hundred degrees!" LMAO... You're kidding right? Or are you from Antarctica?
Had to pause at 10 minutes and say that, that pull out kitchen slide is a great set up! Also came to see what you thought about the alucab in the rain. I'm in Bellingham WA and we see alot of rain as well, and I've had my eye on an alucab for sometime now. Putting everything away wet and not having a place to dry it out scares me.
@ToadMan9000 we have camped in it a lot in the rainforest without issues. If it's wet, we just want for a dry day at home before popping it up.
I am here to learn bro and I do care.
@kevinfromheaven5324 hopefully, you find the info helpful. Let me know if you have an questions.
Dumbest way to mount a gun ever, from a 27 year retired LEO training unit commander.
If you paid the 5 bucks, they might be able to fix that trail
How long have you had it and has it held up? I like the convenience the offers when packing but at almost double the price of a firecan I find it a little hard to justify.. I also like the look it offers. I’m going to be purchasing one of the 2 here shortly and would appreciate your feedback!
@@bridger9346 it's holding up great. It's perfect for a spontaneous fire for 2.
I like you're channel and the Alu Cab set up 😊 Greetings from Norway😊
@Epifani_Days I appreciate your feedback. Our channel is basically a vlog of our life. Cheers.
where is this spot at XD
What a great job!!
@mm6149 I'm glad it was helpful. My hope was that this would appeal to serious buyers.
Your creds went way down when I saw that rusty pan. You’ll come off way more knowledgeable if you know how to take care of the equipment you’re promoting. I like the product, but to be honest anyone could reproduce it with a regular gas fire pit, a large paella pan and a Weber grill grate. Just say’n.
These seats are not comfortable and not a proper height for the legs
Yeah very typical of them, there not the brightest in canyon
😮😮 woo
What's wrong with Oregon? Why the derogatory comment regarding Oregon safety? I've seen those same signs in Washington.
@sqwatchdogadvantures8474 the same thing that's wrong with Washington or any other state where there's lots of people. I know of three different people that have had their van set on fire.
@@seandawnvantures2001 Then maybe you should have said "after all, there are a lot of people here" rather than slamming Oregon. I'm proud to be an Oregoninan and have never once had my van broken into or set on fire. I did, however, have my luggage stolen from my car at the fairy terminal in Washington. I don't blame Washington for that though.
@@sqwatchdogadvantures don't get me wrong. I don't blame the State, I blame the people in the state that allow crime to go unchecked. In my experience, most overlanders are the salt of the earth.

@doneast6777 I appreciate the additional information .
@@seandawnvantures2001Last time I camped at Usal was July of 2007. Just me and the immature bulls from the elk herd, down from Needle Rock. Wonderful camping there. You were in three ghost towns, for your campout. Hardy was the town just across the bridge about a 1/2 mile from where you camped your first night. Rockport still kinda looks like a town, 3-4 houses and a school and Usal was also a town, lumber mill and a shipping point. So were the other two.
@doneast6777 we visited Needle Rock and found it fascinating to see how they used to live and are currently living. A hard group of humans for sure.
